I always felt like it became fashionable to be afraid of clowns in the 90s. I don't believe that many people are genuinely afraid of clowns.

The only funny clown I know is Tim Curry as Pennywise in IT and he's supposed to be scary.

I wonder what people's thoughts on clowns are

Just another form of entertainer like dancers and singers -- just more appealing to kids and comedy, I think.

Since my emotions and what being social looked like seem to be different from most kids... And since I like being different instead of copying what most kids do or react scared for seeing something weird which I don't...

... The only fun I get with them is to mess with them somehow.
Mess up their tricks if I get to be picked as a volunteer.
Maybe mess with their costumes when their backs are turned.

And going through their costumes, their props before or during their performance instead of sitting with the audience.
That's the most exciting part for me; fiddle with their stuff at 'backstage' when one shouldn't.

They just let me be because I was a kid, while I never bothered masking on top of that I'm also really sneaky and like to go to places where one shouldn't, sooo...

It is also why I don't feel 'triggered' when I feel invisible. Instead, I see it as a chance for mischief.

I have no feelings about clowns myself but my daughter claims to have a fear of them and so does my bf but I don't know if they're just pulling my chain

It must be the longest day of your life if you was a contestant on "Pointless"

Literally I only turned it on 5 minutes ago and I'm losing the will to live already

I just looked up and saw a giant crack in the ceiling.
The latest in a long list of problems with this house. I think whoever built it must have been drunk.
