Depends. Local news is o.k. I do like Al Jazeera English and EuroNews. BBC news and SKY news is a bit boring.

What is your fav emoticon(s)?

My favourite emoticon:

:cheese:

I like it because it's so ridiculous. It is supposed to represent cheese. I can't imagine anyone ever saying, "You know what we need? An emoticon to represent cheese," but apparently someone did.

My piano has 84 keys but that's not what you meant, I guess. Nah, seriously, I got three keys. Two for the place I live and one for the lock on my bike. Those three is all I use basically. There are more but they stay at home all the time. (like some keys for the little shed and one for a window.

I got two sisters but.... do you have any siblings?

that was a cool question! Keys! Wow, I have so many that I can impossible not count them without giving myself some days with it (to locate them all)

But to make the question less complicated I can say that I have seven active keys.
2 for my home
2 for my guest appartment
2 for my bike
1 for the basement where I keep my bike

but the most extraordinary key I own is a key I forgot to return after a ferryboat ride many years ago - a half year later that ship sunk to the bottom of the ocean...

Hmm... this is more for shorter term, but...

  • I listen to Blind Willie McTell songs (their familiarity is quite comforting)
  • I press my head onto hard things (usually the wall)
  • I don't have the lights on
  • I avoid other people (well... avoid them yet more than I normally do)
  • I go to sleep
  • I try not to do anything creative (because I'd just hate whatever is produced, making me feel worse)

For longer term, I don't know. I just wait it out I suppose.

Same question.

Leave everything and everyone behind and go to a secluded natural spot (nature preserve, wilderness, etc). There I will just walk around all day, and over time Nature heals me.

It's not quite as simple as that, but it certainly is the most effective thing I can think of.

same question.

walking, running, tidying room, listening music, painting (all things that make me calm)
and if possible being alone (but that's not easy with 2 kids and a hub and a fulltime job)

How often are you alone a day?

2.5 hours (8-10:30pm). I have kids and I homeschool one of them so I have someone around me 13 hours a day. Some days that's a little tough.

What's your favourite genre of music?

i don't think i have a favourite genre, i like certain sounds and certain voices but they don't fit into a style
if i really have to choose, maybe electronic music then

(we have a daughter that wanted to do homeschooling this year too, and she stayed at home all year but she didn't do the exams because she plans to go back to school next year. she did learn a lot though)

what do you think is the most important in a society (education, nature, care for animals, roads, telecommunication, inventions, etc)

blin! The second time Im into a cross post here this day (Im sooooo slooooow in my replies)
I should double check next time that nobody was faster than me to prevent this from happening...

so I reply Lemons question:

a very difficult question for me... I would logically think all of it is important for a society to work properly....

and again I repeat mine:

How often does you listen to music?
