England is warmer than Western Canada. I want to move there. The thing is I'd probably have to choose between Germany and Britain and....what difference does it make. Britain is 70 percent immigrants as it already is. I'd fit right in there.

First T-shirt and shorts day of the year (great for me, not so much for the people that have to see my legs! ).

The local woods look like there should be a fantastic display of bluebells very soon. :D

^ Actually, my legs are so thin and pale that they're probably invisible from more than a few feet away - I probably just look like a torso floating in mid-air! (Hmm, that would explain quite a few of the funny looks I get!)

Spring!?!?

I don't think we're having Spring this year. We have ice, snow, and freezing rain for the foreseeable future.

We have at least an inch or two on the ground right now.

It gets warmer and the flowers start blooming, and the weeds start growing back (the one bad thing)

Only ~6 inches of snow (and ice) in the last snow storm.

Yes, in Michigan that totally counts as a sign of spring...

The flock of gulls that spends the winter around the local supermarket parking lot has dispersed.
