Not much difference between bud light and carling. Bud is 3.5 while carling is 4.

Go in to any weatherspoons pub and you will find bud light.

At the pub I go to they also mix bud light with lemonade (shandy) can you get a buzz on that or not?

I've not had shandy since I was a kid. Give it a try. I bet its refreshing even if it's nothing else.

What do you think the percentage would be of bud light mixed with lemonade? I am not very good at maths.

Actually just figured it out 1.75% abv

Well I'm not good at maths either but the lager would probably stay at the same volume but the lemonade would water it down so it wouldn't have the same affect

So in other words you could not get a buzz on it?

I doubt it. I'm no expert though so you could try it and see.

There's still alcohol in it.

If it's half lemonade, then there's half the alcohol and you'd have to drink twice as much volume to get the same level of intoxication.

If there's less than half lemonade, then you'd have to drink a bit less than double the volume for the same effect.

Was gonna drink my warm beer at the beach but was gifted 2 cold ones from a friend just for generally being good to people in my life. 8)

I’d stay til sunset but I’m expecting a call back from the local police about a report I filed and I told them I’d leave the beach to go give a statement about some criming I heard about. I’m no snitch about stupid s**t; this is serious stuff if it’s happening for real - tbd via investigation.

Will be good to get a call and go have a meeting and get this stuff off my mind then have an early night so I can accomplish a couple things tmw. Probably super sober tmw. Water is life. 8)

On my 5th can of Magners of the day. Just got some pint cans of it from Iceland. £4.50 for 4 pints. Not bad at all. Certainly a darned sight cheaper than going to the pub..

Was just looking into wine making kits. 13.99 for equivalent of 6 bottles Cabernet Sauvignon. Not bad.

You have to have a demijohn and your own bottles though.

Had to lookup what that was. I had an educated guess based on making a couple batches of wine before.

It's called a "carboy," here. I have no idea why, that's just the name. According to google they can also be called a "lady jeanne."
