Errol: We wish Big D and I were in a library, but that'll happen in a few months time, when Big D goes to school.
Big D: EHEM!
Errol: Oops... sorry, Boss.
Big D: Ten's message is for Makayla, not for you.

The teacher of the student government confirmed that it would be better to do a presentation (as a final exam, in a way) on my AS than on autodidacticism because of the personal connection. I wonder where I should start, but at least I know what I will discuss! It is due next year, so I will have plenty of time to find out what I should cover.

On another note, I know what I will be doing after I finish my work. It will be finding links between various genes! :D

I'm happy I haven't losted my cookies so far since eating some chicken noodle soup. Life is good. :thumleft:

Fedora isn't so bad, but most applications are only for Windows.

All Windows applications are only for Windows, but not all applications are for Windows. That's the point and, incidentally, it also makes me pretty happy as a result.

WINE can help with some of them, and open-source applications are frequently packaged for Linux as well, but some developers don't care about being nice to WINE, which is not an emulator.

What I mean is - I don't care about Windows or Windows applications.
There are alternatives for most and I'm quite happy about not paying the Redmond Tax as a result.

Overheard the boss and one of my other superiors talking about maybe giving me a raise and promoting me to head of my department in a month or so

That great to hear.

Talking with my mother today and eating crackers with my cats.

I got a new D-Link cable for my netbook and now the connection is faster and the cable isn't falling out of my computer. :)

Seeing the neighborhood illuminated primarily by moonlight during a time when it is bright is amazing.
