indeed i often do. even mct oil (but that makes coffee taste bad - that oil is better suited for kids or removing makeup).

thanks for thinking of it though!

btw if you have eye problems, i use it on my eye area skin too (lid and undereye).

it's good if u don't use more than a drop of coconut oil, and blot after a while (so oil doesn't get into your eyes)...

the skin around my eyes usually feels blistered except for that.

i'm mentioning in case that happens to somebody else (from rubbing eyes excessively or being out in the cold weather).

i bought Systane Eye ointment and gel for my mom who has blistered-feeling eyes from her tumour operation.

in removing the tumour, they damaged nerves, which paralyzed one side of her body for a while.

now better, but one of her eyes don't blink properly anymore, so the eye gets irritated and scratched and she rubs it.

this has been going on for years.

my eye doctor told me that when the cornea keeps getting irritated like that, being rubbed so much and open to the elements, it will heal in an uneven layer... endless cycle. It needs to heal thoroughly- for which she should use that ointment....

i had bought one for her already, but my brother was supposed to give it to her, and lost it.... he also lost his phone again.

Thanks. Her eyes look pretty healthy these days, not red and irritated. Maybe she has been taking care not to manhandle them as was her habit. But this is just an extra measure.

I bought grilled eggplant dip and a wrap ('shish tawk' ?) from a nearby store. I ordered it from doordash becausE I don't have snow tires and the roads are not safe right now. I gave the man a very high tip on the DoorDash app because of the weather.
When he came he was standing in the cold with snow swirling around him and gusts of fierce wind.

I felt guilty for putting that man in that situation, where he could develop a horrible cold, just for me (or another person) taking a few seconds too long in coming to the door...

I also felt bad that he worked harder for this one simple pay, than people who were paid more in the past (I had to) to, to do less strenuous things (like saying 'Will do, [blooiejagwa]' in an email), paid more to literally parrot exactly what I had written to them except in third person. Something a 10 year old could have done.

Hundreds of dollars for that (easy task) versus so little for travelling so far in a snow storm, risking health as well..could even have crashed or gotten hit by another car...

just to fulfill 1 person's whim.
Doing that for I don't know how many other people, so much work each time.
And probably one of many jobs, for that person.
I felt like a complete brat.
Especially since it was an older gentleman.

Forced to pay 80 DOLLARS for shipping alone (minimum) for essential replacement parts for an essential piece of equipment for my son. I estimated, and realized... if I had bought a BRAND NEW one, instead of only replacement parts to fix it myself, from Amazon and used Amazon prime (of XH's or my sister's), it would cost about 30 dollars more than the replacement parts. I paid 200 dollars total

That is the way it is these days. I usually buy a new replacement and keep the old one for parts.

I picked up two meds yesterday at Walgreens & paid $1.30 each & then I went to the dentist for a half a year cleaning & checkup & just had to pay the $3 copay(my teeth are fine BTW). I have Medicare & Medicaid for insurance which is why I paid so little for meds & dentist.
