What about your love for The Kinks?
And your consistent kindness?
And the sweet peas?

I feel like your love for Germany is a huge part of you, but that there's still a lot more to you than just that one thing.

I don't think anyone can be reduced to just their preferences and interests, no matter how huge those things are within their personality.

Those are all parts of me as well. Thank you for reminding me.

I bought some new clothes today. I dress very plainly right now so I'm hoping to start looking like a more interesting person as well as dressing more gender-neutrally. My aunt, who has a strong sense of fashion, was my advisor, except I had to explain that I don't exactly want to look fashionable, I just want to look more interesting. I'd like to look good, but trying to look good is mainly for my own amusement and I don't really care if other people think I look good. I'm not sure if bringing my aunt was a good idea. I thought she could help since she knows more than I do, but I think I'd rather do it myself. Only I know what I want. Also I'm not sure she was clear on the "gender-neutral" thing, when I suggested we try the women's section she just looked for clothes for herself.

^ I think I know to some degree what kind of clothes I's like to wear, but I have no idea where to find them. The stores I know have styles I don't like. The only option is the thrift store but they too have very slim pickings and it's a real slog to sift through them. I just wear plain clothes (pants and a t shirt) but it's not what I would prefer. I used to have a pair of cargo pants that I liked and were lightweight but I never found them again. I liked wearing them with a faded black t shirt. Basically I'd like to dress like a man who is an auto mechanic. But I also worry about trying to look mildly attractive and I try to consciously seek out t shirts that are made for women that are a bit more flattering.

I think "handy" is something I often aim at but never really achieve.

Besides...being handy to you would involve not being at the opposite end of the planet.

I might have a bit of grated cheese on top of my beans tonight

It's a bit unorthodox for me but they say a change is as good as a rest
