I had a nice idea that I would spend the evening sitting by the lake, watch the sunset, maybe listen to music, crochet or something ... I spent two hours running around before I finally managed to get out, and it was about two minutes before it started downpouring. *sighhhhhh*

Also I found someone else's underwear in my laundry. I know it's clean but I don't really want it in my space. And yet here it will stay until I can figure out whose it is ... which I might get to in the next year, if I'm lucky.

I tried to get an Iceland Bonus Card recently from my local store, but was told that they couldn't stock them because they're made of....shock horror....plastic..... so I'd have to apply online. The UK eh, going to the dogs or what?

I Iove my lithium house batteries.
They're usually charged by 10 am and I haven't had to start the generator for 2 years.
I still get cold called by marketers telling me they can save me money on my electricity bill.
"I don't have bills...I'm off grid"...

I don't mind fielding the calls except for their inane, infuriating pleasantries before the pitch.
