Check out: Cloudy, The Dangling Conversation, Silent Night, For Emily. They are my favourites and they're all on the same album "Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme" so you can maybe upload it or whatever (lol, I don't do digital music).

Their little song / refrain called Bookends makes me cry!

I don't know Loreena McKennitt but I'll look for her!

No idea what mangaka is. 8)

Did you respond to shoe guy?

Thank you for the recommendations, i'll check them out! Loreena McKennitt is an irish (i think) singer with a really beautiful voice. Her music is hard to classify, maybe celtic folk?

Shoe guy is currently acting like he mistakenly messaged me, he messaged me something like "we'll contact tomorrow" i said ok thanks (thought he was talking about controlling the shoe lol) he said that was a mistake sorry and i said it's okay :) ı guess we'll see what happens tomorrow lol!

Do you like Stevie Nicks?

I love her voice but I got tired of Fleetwood Mac, growing up in the 70s / 80s. Her solo work is nice.

Good luck w Shoe Guy, assuming you are interested. Send back a smiley face or something cute next time. Or, you could text him by mistake too....

(My goodness, I'm feeling 13 again...)

Do you speak quickly?

I do not speak quickly. I think in images and then must compose my thoughts and words from there. It's a multi step process for me.

My favorite S&G song of all time is Bookends. Both beautiful and sad at the same time.

Same question about speaking quickly.

I speak quickly when i'm nervous or excited mainly! Idk what to do with the shoe guy right now but we'll see!

Do you have a hard time identifying your feelings? ( this might be a given in this forum though!)

Yes! Bookends! Isn't it gut-wrenchingly haunting?!

As a child I spoke very quickly, very quietly, with the wrong accent and with mispronounced sounds for /r/ and /s/.

I went to speech therapy for three years during school. Now I'm so quiet, I don't know how I'd be rated! My assessment doctor said I have an almost complete lack of expression or gesture when I speak. I also become selective mute (against my will) at times, and I have trouble articulating emotions verbally.

I suppose my talking speed is normal, but I'm not sure anymore.

April: Yes, I have a lot of trouble. I was assessed as having severe alexithymia and difficulty with communicating feelings.

I'm generally OK to type them, depending on the audience.

Do you listen to music when you walk?

I understand that process. I have a friend (WP) who is much the same. I also think in images and I have profound synaesthesia. Do you?

I'm the same, especially in romantic situations i can't understand my feelings at all!

I nearly always listen to music when i walk. I also imagine stories and characters too, probably have something like maladaptive daydreaming.

Going to sleep now, today was a bit eventful and i have a lot to think! It was really nice to talk to you!

I don't listen to music when I walk.

I believe I have very mild visual synethesia where colors can affect my nervous system. Sounds, most definitely! It's as though my ears are wired directly to my entire nervous system!

Have you read any Proust and if so, do you recommend it?

I think I read a bit of ...Temps Perdu, but I don't really remember it, as my French isn't terribly strong.

I think the only French novels I read in full have been L'Étranger (Camus) and Le Petit Prince (Saint-Exupéry). Charlotte Brontë uses a considerable amount of French dialogue in her novels and I can wiggle through most of it, but I occasionally need to reference the translations.

I liked Camus quite a bit.

Have you read much Dickens?

I've read A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations, and A Tale of Two Cities, the latter of which always makes me cry.

Have you ever played D and D?

No, because I am not a gamer.

How often do you exercise?

By exercise, do you mean read a book and turn the pages? I do that frequently 8) !

My balance is still a little unpredictable since my stroke. I do my physio routines but that's about it, apart from walking or occasional swimming. I used to do a lot of mountain biking.

Have you ever ridden a dirt bike? I haven't.

Have you ever had a metaphysical experience?
