When you add a post to a popular thread then all of a sudden the thread dies. Forever.

Squeeze bottles for sauces that don't work they just splatter everywhere, what's wrong with the glass bottles?

^ Yes, and glass jars whose lids are exceptionally difficult to unscrew. How do some elderly people manage to do this?

Being dumb enough not to buy my usual meat and side staples this past Welfare Wednesday is my pet peeve. I can really use a pet pea like Om Nom right now.

People with a really loud sneeze that makes you jump every time. The noise of their sneeze echoes around the room about 3 times and shatters through you. I'm a hefty sneezer but I don't shout my sneezes out.

When people advise me that exposing myself to my fears and anxieties will cure me. This may work with some fears and anxieties but it's not a one size fits all. Some fears and anxieties I expose myself to almost every day but it doesn't make me feel less fearful or anxious and I can still be avoidant other times.

Extra hot days when the temperature is over 30 degrees.

Being told to make something "a priority" without being told where in my priority queue it should be.

When people here think they know your family member or friend more than you do, and then use your autism as a way of telling you that you don't know anyone's true colours because you're too socially inept.

For example:-

Member: Maybe your dad sexually abused your siblings
Me: No, he didn't
Member: But how do you know he didn't?
Me: He's my dad, I just know he wouldn't and didn't
Member: But you don't know that
Me: I do, he never abused me at all and my siblings never said he did
Member: He might have just avoided you because he thought you might tell people, or he might have abused you but due to autism you didn't understand what abuse was, and your siblings probably didn't let on


If a member on an online forum says a true fact about their own family or friends then it is best to take their word for it, instead of all this "but how do you know??" stuff. They know their own family and friends more than you do. It's annoying when a stranger on the internet tries to tell you otherwise.

Classic troll....that person who disputed you.

People that walk slowly and block the path.
