Now this is getting me into a rabbit hole. :P
I checked Portland and the sunset today is 15 minutes before mine, even though you're farther north. :?:

I'm not trying to argue with anyone.

I'm just saying that the days get shorter here starting in late June.
Yes, summer nights are brighter overall than winter nights, but they get shorter day by day.
Winter nights get brighter day by day.

Is Portland’s sunset 15 minutes before as well?

I don't get how anyone can think that reporting a user means you want them banned.

That’s OK ^ Not a problem.
I was just trying to figure out where you lived if that was true.

I don't get why people expect everyone else to have perfect coordination and do everything at lightning speed the moment they become an adult. It's like adults with motor skill delays don't exist. :?

I also don't get why grown adults default to getting frustrated if others aren't as good as things as they expect them to be. I thought adults were supposed to be emotionally stable and patient.

My coordination and gait have never been good. My daughter says I walk like I'm drunk. Those videos of well coordinated people exercising are very off putting, as no way could I do what they're doing.

I don't get why fathers walk out on their families.

I don't get why people who clearly have severe untreated mental illness are still allowed to run an entire country.

If you look at the history of the world most civilizations and empires were often ruled by 'mad kings'.

Yes. The summer solstice, around June 23, is the longest day of sunlight. The Winter solstice of December 21st has the least length of sunlight. But since the Solistices are the start of the respective seasons we think of summer as getting more summery after its start, and winter getting darker and colder after its starting day. Though the days get longer of the Winter Solsitice, and get shorter after the Summer solstice. Its a mind flip.

I don't get why people like to get together in huge crowds in order to celebrate New Year's Eve. I can have just as much fun celebrating at home with some German beer and a bag of Munchies with the pretzels mixed in with crunchies and Doritos.

I suppose because everyone is afraid of them, and they attract all the other psychos who rule by fear.

Dunno. But there's a lot of such people around.

I don't get why people are fine with others using their trauma or mental illness as an excuse to be rude and insulting and then get mad at others who react negative to it by calling them bullies and acting like they are in the wrong. And people wonder why mental illness is stigmatized?

Probably the same reason our ape relatives like to be ruled by big aggressive alphas.

Yes...brute strength always rules, unfortunately.
