Just grappling with my new Apple Macbook at the moment. Managed to get myself locked out as I forgot my password but back in again now. Why do Apple have to do everything differently to Windows?

I need to get a new machine this year

This latest cup of tea's really hitting the spot

TV drives me crazy because whenever it's in the vicinity my head can't stop turning towards it. I wish restaurants wouldn't torture people with it, but I especially wish my mom wouldn't watch TV while I'm trying to do something else.

Yesterday when my mother and I were out we stopped at a red light, and some other person sped right past us, going right through the light over the speed limit. What is wrong with people?? What makes them think, if they think at all, that they can dust do something illegal while the rest of us can't?

I've always been a Windows man since I got windows 98. This is the first Apple computer I've purchased so it's going to take me a while to get used to it. So far the battery life seems much better than my Windows 11 laptop, it cost £1600 which is more than twice what I paid for my Windows machine so it will take a while to work out if it's good value.

That, and a new toaster was my belated christmas presents to myself. I've overspent this week so waiting nervously for a bank transfer on monday to pay my rent and electricity direct debits..
