today i went to marxist reading group. i managed to finish my readings last minute & i took a nap in the library. & my comrade gave me a ride to newtown where the library was & at the mrg i got to talk to some of my comrades after & one of my comrades gave me a compliment. which made me feel less inadequate. & when i got back home brokeback & a movie about the maritime union industrial action in the 1990s was on. it was odd because we'd been talking about it at the mrg & the union is currently involved in a dispute with the same union busting twat.

Playing Guitar Hero, and beating all my old high scores (from when I was totally obsessed and played for an average of 4 hours per day ) by 20, 30 or even 50k I like being good at stuff. Actually that's why I'm playing, because I was feeling kinda crappy this morning, so I made a list of everything I could think of that made me happy. I came up with: dogs (so I played with and brushed and snuggled with my dog for a couple hours), music (so I listened to my playlists on itunes, and watched music videos on youtube, and now I'm playing Guitar Hero), looking good (so I cut my hair some more and made plans for what I want to do with it when I have enough money for hair dye ), video games, and being good at stuff. I'm feeling pretty good now
