I was in the city I was born in yesterday and it felt terrible. It was a match day, which always had a certain tension, but the city centre felt febrile, like it could kick off at any moment. And then the f*****g UKIP party marched through the middle with a big banner calling for mass deportations.

I dunno. It just felt depressing, the city centre looks run down, there was security on shop doors, loads of police everywhere and just this miserable aggressive atmosphere.

I wonder if taking a 200 php worth of broth and ingredients, and then stretch it all to 8 servings worth, consuming it once or twice a day within a week long is either cheapskate or practical...?

And how do I stretch 100php worth of baking ingredients to last a month?

Today I learned that sinigang is mostly making something sour and just put meat to stew in it. The rest is preference.
My preference is more sourness. I hadn't put enough sourness. I'll get more next time.

And cookies are basically caramelized sugar merged with bread, with optional toppings and additives. Because, well, the amount of sugar involved alone...
What I ended up with was the type not meant to be cooked soft and chewy, but hard and crispy.
