What's the last weirdest dream you had?
Maybe a person from WP represents the deviant misfit side of you. Your brother represents conformity (ie what your family expects of you, and or society expects of).
Your family rejects your WP friend, but then your WP friend abandons you. So you're kinda left nowhere.
Just a thought.

Me again...
I can't remember why, but I had to go to somewhere with colleagues, and one said that a relative had a guest house. We arrived independently and I was surprised when I got there - its interior was like an old-fashioned American department store, and had huge sweeping staircases (currently without actual steps on them) forming a horse-shoe up the the first floor mezzanine. It looked like it used to be heavily art deco, but had been redecorated over the years.
I climbed a staircase which was off to the side with my bags - two flights per floor - and had to go up two floors and down again to get where I wanted. There were staircases everywhere. Two colleagues were waiting for me there, one telling me where my room was, the other just waiting around. It was the latter's relative's place (who I now, writing this, realise I know is quite wealthy), and I just couldn't think of anything to say, so I tried to confirm directions to my room, incorrectly. A third colleague said they would take me, and walked me not where I had come from, but round so I was walking the top edge of the horseshoe. When out of earshot of the others I muttered that this place was obscene, just as we walked in to the semicircular theatre. I don't think I've been in an old theatre so large.
For some reason, I make my excuses and head back to the foyer. But of course this is the mezzanine, and the sweeping staircases are the world's worst slide-cum-cheesegraters. Luckily there is some fabric over the safety railing, so I carefully "rapel" down. I see the other two colleagues at the other staircase talking about fixing it.
At this point, someone (who I vaguely recognise now) asked for my help. This is where my plans for today started leaking in to my head... This person was a dancer at the show I'm helping out at, and had decorated what she thought was a good entrance point with fabrics and lanterns. It didn't look too bad. But the door at the end was locked/ I didn't think it went anywhere, but I went over and saw the bolts, so drew them and opened the door on to a small crumbled patio, with clumps of dead grass and lumps of mud strewn across it. It was a few minutes before someone found a circus-top tent (where and why?) to go outside the door. Writing this know, I'm sure this outdoor patio is right below the theatre, but no, the view back from outside is a pre-victorian sandstone pillared mansion. No overhanging theatres.
Anyway, while the tent is being found, I walk over the edge of the patio, where there is a small and lazy, and very overgrown, stream. As I approach, I see pike writhing nears the banks, but the swim off when I get closer. Then I see a webbed hand in the murky depths. Not pale and human, but dark, mottled like the pike. It withdraws. Slowly, a face moves forward, fading from the gloom of brown water. The monster from the blue lagoon, only more human, and the smooth, soft skin of the pike.
It stays resting below the surface, and we watch each other, showing no concern or fear. He doesn't speak, but I can hear him. He says that humans should join them, be more like they are, without our vast technological and destructive empires. I try to counter. Surely they have made advancements resulting in modern comforts, maybe at greater costs? He ignores that and slowly sinks away, in to the mud.
Now the tent is being erected, and the wife from Field of Dreams is on the phone, complaining or trying to arrange beams to hold up the tent. I leave.
Once outside, I see the high walls of the country manor, and, looking up, catch a glimpse of a fishman at a window. He's wearing a suit and carrying some kind of large yellow tool. He's only one floor above me and points it at me through the open window. Because I'm relatively close to the house, we're not too far away, so I jump, trying to knock it from his hand. He's startled and drops it, and I catch it. I've no idea what it is, like some kind of yellow balloon. I walk back inside through another door and have to hide the balloon behind my back so the wedding guests don't see it. Yep, wedding guests. Apparently, this side door leads to an airy and well lit chapel, just filling with onlookers.
And then a door slammed and I woke up.
My plans today do not include fishmen.
I dreamed about playing Castlevania, in which I was Shanoa.
For some reason I dream of Castlevania stuff whenever there's inner turmoil in my life [such as the dream in which I destroyed a vampire with a sword].

Someone stole some of my clothes and some of my books.
The really weird thing about the dream was that the theif was very selective and OCD level organized.
Only the clothing I can wear to work without violating the rather tight dress code was stolen
And the bookcase was stolen along with the books--but carefully selected volumes were left behind, arranged very precisely on a different shelf.
Then I had a dream that reminded me of Tim Allen in The Santa Clause when they are modifying the sleigh so that Charlie and the elves can track Santa on his global journey. They were all freaked out because they lost track of the sleigh over Palestine. Then he was back on the west coast of the USA, but he was heading over the Rocky Mountains and saying they would lose him again because of mountains and storms.
Then somehow Santa and his sleigh morphed into a lion running along the mountainside (still in the Rockies), and being chased by a flock of furry blue birds like something out of Dr.Seuss. The birds would huddle like a football team planning strategies to knock the lion off the cliffs, the lion would fall...then like cartoon violence or a video game reset, the lion would power up and keep on running. I woke up trying to reassure my mom that the lion was okay, getting back on the trail, the birds are really smart with their pack mentality and all but the lion can't be beat, he's the hero...
Ok so much weirdness in that one. Any takers on meanings (hem, hem, AuntBlabby)?

Thief
To dream that you are a witness to a theft or a victim of theft indicates that someone is wasting your time and/or stealing your energy and ideas. Perhaps you feel robbed in some way or that somebody at your work is sabotaging you or is trying to control your mind/thinking IOW "mind rape."
Book
To see books in your dream indicate calmness. You are moving toward your goals at a slow and steady pace. Books also symbolize knowledge, intellect, information and wisdom. The dream may represent your calling into a specific field of work or an area that you need to devote more study to. Alternatively, the dream could be telling you not to judge a book by its cover.
Bookshelf
To see a bookshelf in your dream represents the various levels of your mind where ideas, concepts, and memories are kept. It also suggests your need to acquire some information or knowledge in a situation before making your decision.
Dress Code
To dream that you or someone is in a de-facto uniform signifies your need to belong or be part of a group. Alternatively, the dream may suggest that you are conforming too much to the beliefs of others. Learn to think for yourself and be your own person. The dream also could refer to a hostile coworker who is trying to get you into trouble, sabotaging you behind your back.
Santa Claus
To see Santa Claus in your dream indicates that you need to be more giving, accepting, and/or forgiving. You need to acknowledge and tend to some aspect of yourself. Alternatively, the dream means that you are reflecting on the good and bad things that you have done. To dream that you or someone is dressed as Santa Claus suggests that you need to treat others as you would like to be treated. Put yourself in someone else's shoe and determine how they might feel. The sleigh in this context represents a desire to return to the innocence of childhood.
Mountain Lion
To see a mountain lion in your dream represents lurking danger, aggression and raw emotions. You need to keep your attitude and emotions in check. Alternatively, the mountain lion symbolizes pride and grace.
Mountains
To see mountains in your dream signify many major obstacles and challenges that you have to overcome. If you are on top of the mountain, then it indicates that you have achieved and realized your goals. You have recognized your full potential. Alternatively, mountains denote a higher realm of consciousness, knowledge, and spiritual truth. To dream that you are going around a mountain implies that you are tackling some obstacle in a roundabout manner. You are taking an indirect approach. Alternatively, dreaming of going around the mountain means that you are pacing yourself. You know your limitations.
Storm
To see a storm in your dream signifies some overwhelming struggle, shock, loss or catastrophe in your waking life. The storm also represents unexpressed fears or emotions, such as anger, rage, turmoil, etc. On a more positive note, the storm symbolizes your rising spirituality. It may signal rapid changes ahead for you.
Bird
To see birds in your dream symbolizes your goals, aspirations and hopes. To dream of birds on the attack means that you are being pulled into too many directions. You are experiencing conflict with your spirituality. To see bluebirds in your dream symbolizes both happiness and sadness. It is also an indication of purification and resolution to the opposing conflicts/paradoxes in your life.
I had a dream in which I seemed to be investigating a murder [ ] at a shopping mall [?!], with a detective partner who was initially a man, but then turned into a girl I know quite well indeed. We interviewed potential suspects, but no one seemed remotely upset about the murder. I can remember thinking that I really wanted to get out of there before I had sensory overload [from the closed-in mall and too bright lights and dull white walls], and my special someone seemed to think the same, because then we were suddenly at a restaurant of some kind. Maybe she was taking me out on a date.
Funnily enough, my idea of a date is hanging out at home while playing video games/reading books and me cooking. What do you think, aunt?

Weird thoughts about my dream Aunt Blabby!
Just a couple things:
To see a mountain lion in your dream represents lurking danger, aggression and raw emotions. You need to keep your attitude and emotions in check. Alternatively, the mountain lion symbolizes pride and grace.
It wasn't a mountain lion. It was an African Plains lion, like the ones in the Serengeti.
And the birds were blue, but definitely not bluebirds.
Not like this.

More like this.

Only blue, and looking fierce instead of happy. Lots of them. Ganging up on the lion to knock him off the cliff trails.
But lots in there about work and co-workers--lots of stress on the job right now, actually, as they are making me learn front desk reception. Not a happy place for a socially awkward Aspie.

Kuraudo, I only see isolated symbology in your dream, there is a narrative there but I can't limn it.
Killer
To see a killer in your dream suggests that an essential aspect of your emotions have been cut off. You feel that you are losing your identity and your individuality. Alternatively, this dream may represent purification and the healing process. You are standing up for yourself and putting a dramatic end to something. To dream that you witness a murder indicates deep-seated anger towards somebody. Consider how the victim represents aspects of yourself that you want to destroy or eliminate.
Detective
To see a detective in your dream signifies the thrills and dangers in some aspect of your waking life. To dream that you are a detective indicates that you are searching for your hidden abilities and talents. You may be trying to solve a problem and seek out the truth about some worrisome issue.
Mall
To dream that you are at the mall symbolizes the choices, decisions and options you have in your waking life. These choices will help shape who you are as a person. You are trying to establish your identity and sense of self. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you are trying to make a favorable impression on someone. The mall is also symbolic of materialism and the need to keep up with the trends, fads, and/or the latest technology. IMHO the girl you were with, rather than being the girl you know in waking life, in this dream is instead an aspect of yourself that happens to mesh with the personality of your girl friend.
Restaurant
To dream that you are in a restaurant suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by decisions and choices that you need to make in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that you are seeking for emotional nourishment outside of your social support system.
