This last Christmas was the first time I've ever seen one

I was on Facebook yesterday and saw a comic strip that showed an ostrich sitting in a bar with Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Mighty Mouse, Underdog, Dumbo the Elephant, and a flying monkey from The Wizard of Oz. The caption in the comic has the ostrich saying "I really shouldn't feel bad that I can't fly, there are lots of other animals that can't fly either, right guys... oh, wait."

The joke is that all the ostrich is a flightless bird, he's unhappy that he can't fly, and just as he starts to cheer up by reminding himself that there are many other animals that can't fly either, he realizes he's surrounded by all these famous animals that shouldn't be able fly because of their species, but they can anyway. They're all fictional characters, but still. I found it mildly amusing.

But here is the insane Facebook poster part. a woman in the comments started flipping out saying the comic is racist because only white people would get the joke and not people of other races due to their lack of privileges. Which really makes no sense and is actually a racist thing to say itself. Maybe she meant only white people would know about cartoon characters like Dumbo and Rocky the Flying Squirrel. But like I said, it's racist to assume that.

There was nothing racist about that comic and it's really sad how over the top PC some people are. I better not post any more jokes or cartoons of my own on Facebook. After all, I'm a white person so that alone is extremely racist.

A chicken sausage just doesn't have any appeal to me

I had a dream that I was on WP last night. Everyone was teasing me about my differences. I couldn't believe it. I had a cold drink and went back to bed.
