I had a dream that I feel is extremely important somehow. There was this man in his house, and his family were trying to get him to come out, but then the house exploded. The man only survived by holding onto his beloved cat [who seemed to keep changing colour, from siamese-like to black to white]. The man was then standing outside amongst the ruins of his house, and the sun was shining and the sky was perfectly blue. There were holes all over the place, deep black holes in perfect ring shapes, but there were thin strings tied across the holes, which the man cut with his sissors. Just as the man was about to jump into the biggest hole with his cat, I woke up. Throughout the entire dream, I had the man's point of view, which is odd since most of my dreams take place in the third person perspective. I'm still unsure if the man caused his house to explode or what.

I dreamt my late father [but not my mother] and some deceased kinfolk on my dad's side were in my car with me, and we were driving down the main hallway inside my old high school, only it had been remodeled and updated since my 70s graduation. I had to stop to go to the bathroom, and at one of the urinal stalls some punk kid [who resembled the actor McCauley Kulkin] tried to shove me aside and peed all over my pants, and we got into a physical altercation at that point with much name calling. then I awoke.

Aunty, I've often dreamed I was driving a vehicle indoors, and I've frequently seen deceased relatives as well. Other than your fight with the peeing Mac Caulkin that could easily have been one of my dreams. I don't ever recall dreaming about him or anyone besides myself p!ssing.
FWIW, most of the three story high school I went to has been mowed down as it wasn't ADA accessable.

what would you say driving down the hallway of one's old high school could mean?

all I remember is that Elvis, from about 1977, shortly before his premature demise, appeared to me in my dream in full glaring white concert regalia, and chatted with me about something speculative regarding him and me.

Was your Elvis sighting something you dreamed back in '77 or was it part of the driving through your school halls dream the other nite? If so, perhaps Elvis was warning you to stay away from Mac Caulkin or some similar punk?
My speculation about my own driving while indoor dreams is that it could be connected to some subconscious desire to be faster on my feet.

interesting about wanting to be quicker-footed. the elvis dream was last night but it was him as he was just before he died. it was like he travelled forward in time. the driving in the high school hallway dream was before this one. :)

I had recurring dreams of people coming to harm, one after the other.

I dreamt I was back in an alternate version of my high school that was also a department store of mostly used stuff. it was quitting time and it was raining outside, and I had misplaced my umbrella and was searching all over the vast building for it. finally I got to the back corner and found a Godiva chocolate shop only it was unusual, the façade was papered over with pictures of various celebs including Einstein. I pushed the door open and entered and saw a mostly empty warren of maroon-carpeted/papered rooms, and out of nowhere came the proprietor who produced my missing umbrella and said to me, "how much is this worth to you [to not get soaking wet outside in the deluge]? to which I replied, "not worth enough to pay you a red cent!" and I walked out.

I will never understand the appeal of "decedent" chocolates. And I certainly wouldn't trade my umbrella for some! :P

I can tell you have never had the pleasure of some truly rich choice-grade high butterfat dark chocolate. I tell you, such is a piece of heaven down here on earth. some will even say it is better than sex.

I dreamed I was with my friend & he committed a murder. We both got arrested for it & were released after an investigation because their wasn't enough evidence. He apologized while he was giving me a ride home.
