Has this thread become unpopular or is it me?

My tea is cold because I answered the phone and forgot it was there; so I'd like another cup of Assam if you have it :)

Whine and roses is a fair start to "is and isn't", I recon.

Anyhow, how can one get to be "unpopular" without challenging fads?

It's easy to be unpopular--it's hard to be popular.

Borls!! Don't you have a telly? They popularise you for saying almost anything idiotic.

I wish my name were Boris.

Then maybe people would gather around me....like I'm exotic or something.

Hello, all my fellow outcasts. :D

This marvellous thread was started way before I joined WP, which was only two months ago, so I've no idea whether I'm popular, unpopular or anything else - not that I give a damn anyway.

But I'll gladly add my name here on the assumption that it will immediately make me unpopular.

I like your screen name because it reminds me of the Taiga of Siberia.

It's the most Hyper-Borean locale on this Good Green Earth!

B-O-R-L-S is a 'Strine way of saying "BS".

Nah! I've not found a typically "ruthlessly logical" "'Spergic" anywhere.

" 'Spergia" seems to have been redefined to mean apologist for impossible nonsense. There is no possibility of being unpopular if you run with popular fads.

I like your picture, kraftiekortie, you look very friendly, witty and popular - so maybe this isn't the right thread for you!

LOL.....I found that avatar by accident; it looks a bit like me with longer hair.

I wish I were witty; I'm not sure if I'm popular--especially amongst the linguistically-conscious.

You're a pretty nice person, too--and deserve to be popular, because you show reasonableness.

This thread is wasted on all you handsome, witty, nice, popular, reasonable, linguistically-conscious, politically correct, socially obsequious, nice guys.

For goodness' sake! Somebody do or say something that's not calculated to be popular!
