Dammit dammit dammit. Spent an hour writing a carefully crafted response in a thread, only to find the thread was locked by the time I clicked submit.

my crazy ex keeps sending me messages saying he hates me and how horrible I am and then sending ones saying he is sorry and how much he loves me. Drives me nuts and makes me angry and hurt.

I was out all morning shopping and stuff. Before I was half over, I was on the verge of a panic attack. Horrible, horrible day.

I should have known better than to click on an autism thread on a popular website. Nothing but ignorance. One person even said, "Autism is icky. But it's okay, I love all people even if they're icky!"

I'm really sorry to hear that.

I can't stand people like that. If they can't find anything nice to say, they shouldn't say anything at all.

Somebody at work told me that I should be fighting my autism and doing all the things that I want to do in life. He's on the spectrum, himself. I told him that I do all the things that I want in life, while accepting and celebrating my autism. I could have taken it one step farther and told him that not everybody has the same dreams and goals. I didn't tell him, because I didn't want to hurt him.

my mum and i had an argument this morning. she threw away my favourite shoes. i was going to wear them today. i had retired them to back up shoes because of their state and i needed to keep them because i wear htem on certain days and i couldnt let them go and the only way i could get new shoes was to put them on backup. and my mum threw them away. she couldnt understand why i was unhappy with this. she told me there were other things to be depressed about but everytime i have a negative feeling she dismisses it. she offered to buy me more, later, by text. but not the same. i think she is trying to make up or say sorry. i feel guilty.

My cold seems to be hanging on.

On the website where the girl said "autism is icky", I quoted her in a different thread about people who are ignorant and she started bullying me.

Wow, some people must not have a life if all they do is sit around making fun of people who are different from them...

Needless to say, I'm not going back to that website anymore. It was only my second day there and I was already getting bullied. To contrast, I've been on WP for 5 years and I've only had 3 isolated instances where people were unkind to me.

Was it Autism Speaks, or a different one?

I didn't do a single productive thing today. Not one.

No, it was called Gaia Online. The setup of the website is actually pretty fun - you post on the forums and play games in order to get "gold" (in-game points) which you then exchange for items to dress up your avatar, which on that particular website is a little doll-like thing that everyone has underneath their username. But the thing is, the people who use that website are very rude. It's not autism-friendly at all. It's a shame that such a fun little game gets turned into a nightmare by the people who use it.
