Um, lets say, I'm more interested in plants and animals than computers but I do like computer stuff (broadly speaking) and am not illiterate/ analphabetical in this eara. I'm in the process of finding myself a netbook (a smaller notebook, 12" screen) at present but been advised to wait a little to buy one. New faster, more capable and more economical processors are coming on the market in a few months time. (?maybe they are already on the market)

Have you learned to use the computer by yourself, simply by doing stuff and learning piecemeal or did you have some sort of course/ education?
