No doubt it was to open this thread on the WP forum --->

http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt103624.html

because I hesitated for days if I should do it or not and now Im very glad I did because I got wonderful support from it! :D

then that I managed to kill the thread quite fast is another thing but Im used to be a threadkiller now - specialised to kill my own threads.. 8O

I like the question so I ask the same
What is one thing you did today, that made you feel accomplished?

I helped tear down an old crappy rotting deck =P (which actually makes it more difficult because it's so bad and wasnt put up originally by professionals so knocking one thing off could take down the whole thing with a good chunk of the house =P)
1 pic of it in progress.
Image
(if you know a bit about construction, at least a junior high level shop class, you can see cross joists and bracing are literally just randomly placed, and the floor joists, though a little harder to see, are at random intervals, not on center to any measurement.)

Same question.

I taught my little brother how to use gym equipment (teaching him the ways).

I'm impressed with the deck foundation, how much work did it take?

Thats the one being taken down. Started at about 8ish, was pretty much wrapped up by 5. Me and my brother doing the demo, his 14yr old doing all the clean up, and his 8 year old supervising =P.

Next probably 2 weekends is the building. All day saturday and probably into sunday digging/pouring post foundations (if we go 10-12 hours saturday we could probably get it all done. electrical and gas survey guys coming during week to map out the lines, and some posts foundations will probably have to be hand augered if they run too close which will run into sunday because it takes forever to hand auger a hole 42" deep.) Once those are done, call the city to have them inspect the depth, and following weekend is the easy part, the building =p.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Yes. Slot machines anyways.
Card games and things like that which have a social component are foreign to me.
But... sitting in one spot, pulling a lever and watching spinning things? Good times 8)

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

what kind of browser do you use? AdSweep works with Opera, Chrome and FF, it's a bit tricky to install but I'm sure you could easily do it.

I use chrome. :)

"Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?"

Hopefully somewhere pleasant, working overseas somewhere.

If you could describe yourself in one word, what would that word be?

In one word?

Skeptical.... would be the one, I guess.

~

A wise Touretter once said that autistic folks are intrinsically more doubtful where in general others, not on the spectrum, are more self assured (and taking things for the truth easily and don't think twice about it/them). I thought about it a while, agreed and replied; I'm absolutely sure of.... my own insecurity.

Do you think there's some truth in this?

ok well you can download it from here and just follow the instructions on that website (below). I installed it on my Chrome and it went smoothly, the folder for the user script was exactly where the instruction says.

to answer the question - I really wouldn't know.

do you remember how you used to spend time in pre-internet times?
