Oooh I love dreams. : D
I have been recording my dreams for a little while, but I have a fairly decent recall.
Last night I had dreamt that I was a strange lady, possibly immigrant that was being targeted for unknown reasons, but I had a friend who was wearing a purple bee costume. We made our way to a mote-like thing in front of a giant building (hotel or corporate, unsure). There were floating boats of varying material strength. At first I chose to quickly hop into the hard capsule with a plexiglass clear cover. I was trying for my life to shield myself because the bad guys had guns and were shooting at us. They got my friend but I was desperately trying to stay alive. As the mote thing has a current (and a fast one), I was being pushed into a low-ceiling area where I had to hold me head up to breath and hold my breath when there was no air space. In the end they shot me, and it restarted back to the beginning, only my friend was now wearing a purple and white bee suit and I had chosen an inflatable donut raft. I woke up shortly after.
Previously in the night I had achieved lucidity for a small moment in time, but the dream was so insignificant and my control was awful that I just woke up.

Yay :bounce: new members are always welcome! Hello pooding! I like dreams too, and I have had some lucid dreaming experiences as well. If you want we can talk about them.

a lucid dream is one in which you are aware that you are dreaming, are alert, and can control the outcome of the dream. mostly psychic folk have them.

Thank you, guys. :3

Lucid dreaming can either come naturally or be learned through extensive practice. In my opinion my dream recall has always been alright in that I can remember at least 1 solid dream a night. Lately it's been 2-3 with some more choppy than others. My dreams are always very vivid aside from the off day here or there. I think it's a lot more motivating if you already have vivid dreams and can remember though.

More often than I can count I could control what happens in the dream without being lucid.
But I've only lucid dreamt like... 4-5 times that I can recall. It's that awareness that you are certain you're in a dream proven by using various in-dream cues and "reality checks," my favorite being holding my nose and breathing. It's almost foolproof! But getting the cues to pop up is the difficult part. Strangely enough (or not since any can happen in dreams), my cues so far are public restrooms and arcades, especially the dance pads. They're always distorted in a way that's very distinct in the dream.
I don't believe too much in dream interpretations, I think that giving an external meaning to a dream makes it feel more... meaningless I guess? Like it gives a certain feeling to you that you can't really externalize. It's such a personal meaning the dreams themselves have. I love dreams. : D

Your welcome pooding! And doesn't everyone love dreams? : D

It's weird, I can dream lucidly without any tricks or special practices. It's just happens, more often than not I am in control during my dreams. Just ask 'blabby!

I had a dream once where the world was flooded...with milk. I can only hope it was vitamin d.

It happens! Consider yourself lucky. It's going to take me a lot more practice to get on that level.
And coincidentally I can across this quote not too long ago:
“Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.”
~ Henry David Thoreau
It sits so well with me.
I hope there were some cookies to go along with it as well... lol.

I dreamt that I was witnessing a fiery car crash (in the same vein as an action movie), and turning to the person beside me said "That won't be needing a BBQ".

So now, when s**t goes bad really quickly (usually misunderstandings), that's what I say!

I went to cycle my way to reap the tidings of my stupor, not end up in grave denial over my next whereabouts, which I often find when feverish in a dream.. and then ending up in some U.S state school being looked after by caretakers and boarding house owners. Holy M-O.ly.

Ending up in a boarding school or any of that stuff is, as I don't like to remember those times much really.
