I was wiping crud off of a light bulb in my hand, when it blew apart all over the place. Of course, it had to cut up my finger in the process.

Even worse (than potentially severing muscles in my finger...), it was the only 240V bulb I had, and I wanted to use it as an at-a-glance visual indicator for the 0-240V variac-controlled sockets on my workbench. That way, I wouldn't flip the power on and then in a moment of forgetfulness, plug in a 120V device that could be damaged.

Now I have to deal with the minor inconvenience of going to the only store that sells them to get another... :lol:

some horrid woman who had called my comrade about the stickers we have been putting up for same sex marriage came up to us to threaten and complain. i also still have not finished my assignment. tomorrow is centrelink. heaven help me.
