1. I was born slightly early because my mother wanted me born on the solstice.

2. I was born at home with a midwife.

3. I was born about five miles from where I am now.

1 is true. I was born on the summer solstice because my mother's OB was going on holiday the following week. She was asked to choose a day to be induced, so she decided the solstice would be perfect. It was also a Friday, and my father wanted to go boating the following week when I was released from hospital. I was on the boat before I went home.

I was born 5.5 miles from here according to google.

1. I was born one day after New Years.

2. I was born when Kennedy was President.

There was once a KK train in the 60s and 70s—but never a K train.

I hardly rode the KK because it was a Brooklyn shuttle—and I hardly went to Brooklyn as a kid.

I do need a bookcase because I'm overflowing again. Shame on me. I intended 3 to be my lie, but I'd actually like a new duvet and new dishes. I've broken a few bowls lately.
