I swear a lot in casual day to day talk. It's natural to me and OK. Although, in Norway, we use religious themed swear words rather than sexual themed ones like in english. The names of Satan or Hell (in their various forms) are often used. I do try to keep it at a minimum amongst children though, by respect for their parents. Because I have no respect for the words themselves.

666- number of the beast...you'll find it in Revelations ...

Oh 'hayul yeah' - not only do we curse, we add extra syllables...;)

I tend to add some that are made up, from Johnny Dangerously (Farging barstages), BattleStar Galactica (frak), and Farscape (Frell, yotz)...;)

I know Revelations speaks of the mark of the beast, but I don't think the actual 666 being the mark was in there the more I think about it.

That's a good way to word it there...

I don't curse too much, but I don't use alternative curse words like frak. I simply don't care too much whether I curse or not.

I swear when I get angry or frustrated about something that isn't right.

I've been trying to come up with a new expression to use in these instances since saying "god damn it" would be a moot point for me since I don't believe there to be a god.

Today I said, "Leave me alone, God damn it!" to some annoying boys, and one of them said, "Thought you said you're an atheist," so I said, "Alright then, Richard Dawkins damn it!" :P

If my life was certificated by the BBFC in terms of bad language, it would probably be a 15.

I usually swear when I'm angry. :x

Or when I'm sympathizing with someone i.e. "Life is s**t." or "men are dicks aren't they?"

These include rubber (the correct American word is eraser)...

"Rubber" is an interesting one...it became a slang word for condoms, alluding to the original term for rubber footwear that slips over your shoes to keep them dry in the rain.

But now that galoshes are a bit less commonplace, people hear "rubbers" and just giggle

I didn't know that one was considered rude in the States o_O I thought it was more of a British thing.

my dad used to hold onto things and never even tell me why the @#$% he was mad. too confusing.

Also I've never understood what makes cursing so "grown-up". What's so grown-up about insulting other people and insulting their religion? If insulting is "growing up" then I'd rather be a kid thank you very much :P Seriously, it's like "South Park" indicates, after a certain age, kids just aren't innocent anymore - and it seems like they're right about the age of the kids in that cartoon once they lose their innnocence :( I know that's when kids started to become more aggressive (or whatever the opposite of innocent is...can't think of it now for some reason) when I was a kid. I was pretty innocent up until about middle school - I'm still pretty innocent come to think of it, in fact my insistence on innocence was what got me to have enemies (2 of them) in high school! :O Being innocent just makes me feel more secure, I guess :) It's not like I'm as innocent as I once was, since many things I like have an angst-ridden vibe to them, but I dunno I see the bittersweet beauty in a lot of those things, which makes me think of...you guessed it...innocence :P

I swear every other word that comes out of my mouth.. to everyone.

I guess it's just a habit because that's how everyone talks at work.

That Bible book is called Revelation, not Revelations.

Not really.

My sister informed me that she's never heard me swear.

Do I curse? Yes I do.

I didn't always and I know it is vulgar and low class...

But sometimes nothing else seems to do but to say "Eff that SOB. He is a total a**hole"! :D

when I curse, it's mostly in my head.
Though sometimes I'll curse out loud, but mostly when I'm all by myself.
