My mom was older than 25 when she had sex for the first time - she told me so. She was also in her 20's when she discovered that some people are gays and lesbians - earlier she didn't know that such proclivities could exist Generally she's very prudish.

My dad has it in for the British, and he hates British Rock. I'm glad that I finally moved out, when I did.

I am going to have to cheat here and post more than one random truth about each.
My parents had me when mum was 17 and dad was 19. Mum is currently on her 3rd (and hopefully final) husband (a real worthless, overbearing overweight -6'6'', 345 lbs) who is a prison guard in Texas. She is a typist with the Texas Department of Corrections. I think that my mum is an Aspie (since my youngest brother-3rd hubby's son and myself both are Aspies).
My mum is the person that has had the most influence on my artistic tastes, is horrible with spelling, grammar, punctuation, usage, maths, but is fairly smart with history.

My dad had a chance to play sports professionally (Basketball, Baseball, or American Football), but those hopes were dashed by a severe football accident in high school. He tried to join the Army as a Finance Officer, but they would not take him due to his shoulder injury. When he was in his early 20's he was given the chance to go to Nashville and record a demo for some A&R reps, but turned it down so that he could continue to take care of me.
I feel sorry for him because when his mother was on her deathbed in our hometown he was in Kansas. He sped trying to get there on time and ended up in a severe car accident. It took two inches off of his 6'2'', 189 lb frame; and through nerve damage slowed his metabolism to a crawl. He now has level 10 arthritis over 80% of his body and due to other health problems and injuries weighs in at 305 lbs. He has ADHD and Bi-polar disorder as well as over a half-dozen other health issues. His smoking has completely ruined his once amazing voice. I have not seen him in twenty years (i am 25). He is a great guy from what I have heard of him though (it was my gran's fault that my parents divorced-she didn't like him 'cause he wouldn't put up with her bs). Other than that, I have cheated and rambled enough.

Mine knew each other since school.

My mom once told me that a priest did not want my parents to wed because of their different (But still Christian) religions unless my dad converted to my mother's. They got married without converting anyway and are still together.

My mom is Catholic but she has had only two kids, my older brother and me. So either she's not a strong follower or she and my dad have only done it twice their whole lives together.

I can't trust my parents.
