It's not really so much that he was a guy, but she said he was "developed." It read like the guy had unusual strength for his age. Why should that even be a factor, unless she suspected he would use it to hurt her. I don't know what he did to her, but if he insinuated that he might get violent with her, then in my book he's just that more of piece of garbage. And yes I'm being sexist- I think it's worse when a guy hits a girl, ESPECIALLY in a bully situation.

You should be ashamed.

Whoa there, get your finger off of the OMG SEXIST/RACIST/POLITICALLY INCORRECT!! !! ! hair trigger for just a second. It sounds more like CaptainTrips was raised to be a gentleman toward the ladies. His statement in no way implies that women are incapable of defending themselves, or are otherwise inferior. More like men should show a high level of respect for them, as in not subjecting them to senseless abuse. Chivalry is not all bad.

But if you want to, guys, go ahead and slug a girl because she can take it. She'll definitely feel respected by your indifference to her gender.

I think it's worse he's a guy! I'd have rather been picked on by some stupid girl I can punch in the boob and be done with, than some guy who's embarrassingly younger than me– and has huge arms!
He was seriously ret*d. He tried to spread this rumour about me being a lesbian, but everyone he told it to laughed at him, because it was clearly BS.
And I don' think it's sexist to believe a man shouldn't hit a woman. That's way stupid. Guys SHOULDN'T hit women. EVER. It's not because women are inferior, it's because they're physically smaller, and guys are supposed to protect them!

I am proud to be a polite and chivalrous gentleman. I am chauvinistic, sexist, and politically incorrect. I would definitely say a man who bullies a woman is a craven coward.

It stopped after I graduated high school. I then had the luxury of choosing the people with whom I wanted to associate.

Oh... let me add an edit.... The above is technically not true; I was bullied at work more or less since I have been employed, but it's just a very different kind of bullying.

You shouldn't hit her. You should restrain her or get out. Same goes for women. They shouldn't be hitting men.

Well, to this very day I'm still getting bullied, maybe not as harsh but neverless I'm constantly getting picked upon at my workplace since I'm not as fast-minded as some people think and all.. :x I had been bullied growing up though due to my awkward physical form and my Aspergian ways yet, it did not last long for, around the time I was in high school I learned to deail with such patheticness in the most sensible manner possible available to me at the time.Simply put made myself appear to be demonic or something along those lines to get the tyrants off my back.. I'm not demonic but, dealing with &^%$ was not easy at all...

For the most part, it finally stopped midway between Grade 10. Still had a few incidences here and there afterwards, but that's generally when the vast majority of it all stopped.

Once I hit grade 11 or so I think it stopped. As soon as I got to high school I got heavily involved with the music department, spending my lunches and spare periods helping the teacher with the younger classes, and around grade 11 or 12 I found some belonging with the other music geeks. On the edges, still, but it was better than nothing.

All is good now.
