I am a vegetarian. I also don't eat eggs or drink milk. I will have them if they are in cookies or something but not alone.

I've been veg. for about 7 years now.

Took a look at your photos. Lovely! You have a really good eye. And you are blessed to be in such a beautiful, pristine place.

Thats just wrong. I personally don't find meat eating to be immoral, but for a parent to force their child to do something they find immoral....it's despicable

I've been watching the Discovery channel a bit & I noticed that the animals who eat meat are dominate in the animal kingdom like lions & the animals who eat plants like gazelles get eaten by the meat eaters. If people are like animals; Aspies would be vegetarians & the leaders in suciety would be meat eaters

Vegetarian here and I don't eat a lot of dairy or eggs so I guess sort of vegan. I dislike meat and over the last few years have just eaten it less and less and didn't enjoy it so last January just decided not to bother and haven't looked back :) I started out not eating meat and then moved on to looking out for animal products in other things and cutting those out too. When I was eating meat I always tried to buy free range etc as I do care about how the animals are treated as well.

It also bothers me alot about what is added to food so I am a bit of a label checking addict which started out with my son needing to avoid certain additives and I learnt so much and really don't want to eat those things! Since I stopped eating meat I have found that my stomach has become more sensitive to processed foods and I hate the taste of sweeteners in fruit squash etc. Mostly I just drink water

I'm a semi-vegeterian as I still eat fish. I don't drink milk either.

I dont know, Nick. There are some pretty big and tough herbivores. For example, a silverback gorilla. Pretty strong, you would call him sir.

Also goats, I was headbutted by an adolescent nanny goat last week and I still have the bruise. Bulls and bullocks- muscular, strong.

Also think of elephants, could trample a carnivorous predator. Giants such as the Brontosaurus- just enormous. So, the idea of the meek, weak herbivore is not true.

Herbivores are generally not violent towards other animals or people thou. Gorillas, goats & elephants are not known for harming people or other animals. i think carnivores are much more dangerous & threatening.

Sick? It makes my mouth water. :thumleft: Now I want some dry meats. Mmmm, dry meats *gargles*

I love meat, and don't understand why some people don't like it, it's delicious and nutritious. :D (I do know the arguments vegetarians and vegans have, but to me they're pointless)

Try living in New Zealand. On a daily basis I see trucks of animals being transported down the local Motorway (Highway). Seeing the fearing look in those poor animals eyes causes me to cry, even if I am traveling on a bus.

Don't try your scare tactics on me, I've seen chickens slaughtered and fish gutted and their heads chopped off. :P I don't enjoy seeing things die, but it doesn't make me want to eat meat any less.

Oh well. Perhaps you are incompetent of experiencing empathy towards animals.

Thanks for the insult. Or maybe I'm just an animal like everyone else and you shouldn't try to push your beliefs onto me. :P Also, I naturally have a hard time showing empathy to other animals (including humans).

I wouldn't eat other humans though. First off because it's illegal, and second of all they probably wouldn't be very tasty with how much moving around they do, it would make the muscles very tough.

I have a pet dog that I love more than most humans, for your information. I'll be sadder when she dies than most people in my family.

Also, it's funny how people in the USA at least find that Koreans eating dogs is disgusting, even when they are meat eaters themselves. They don't eat their pets, they have their dogs that they keep as pets, then they have dogs that they raise for the sole purpose of eating, it's completely different. Just goes to show that humans are stupid creatures. I feel like a sociopath sometimes.
