Arthur Conan Doyle - my thirst for Sherlock Holmes is unquenchable.
Andrew Lane - because I also enjoy young Sherlock
Mo Hayder - She hasn't written anything for ages

I wish Mervyn Peake had been able to write more of the Gormenghast series.

Bump!

Who else? I'm hereby sadly adding Anne Rice to said writers - she died like last year and as such, she isn't going to write anything more :( No more "Vampire Chronicles" then. And Tanith Lee - I wanted to read her "The Earth's Master", the last novel in her Flat Earth universe. And Lucinda Riley, of course - but she at least managed to write down some parts of her last "Seven Sisters" book and her son Harry is going to finish it instead of her, so we are going to get the last book written from the perspective of Pa Salt - the man who adopted the sisters. :)

A reason why I chose Franz Kafka is because his father enjoyed abusing him and this created a huge sense of insecurity in Franz Kafka that has me wonder: Was Kafka on the spectrum himself? :?

Yes I think it's likely. ^

I vote for Goethe, Friedrich Schiller, and PB Shelley.

Tobe Keiko, though she made comics instead of novels. I wish she would've finished her comic series about an autistic boy and the people in his life, but she died from cancer before she could.

I really need to check the 'notify me when a reply is posted' box!

I absolutely adore Oscar Wilde. Visited his tomb several times in Paris.
