Mine's from my favourite children's book by Enid Blyton. I always wanted to name my first child Amelia but I don't actually like children so never had any!
So I have it as a username instead. The naughtiest doll in the toybox is kind of apt, anyway

I like Starlings (the birds). They are capable of imitating lots of different sounds. There sounds depend of the place they live. When they live near pinballmachines, they sound like pinnball machines en when they live near other birds, they sound like other birds. I saw resemblance between Starlings and their sounds and my social life I also think 'starling' sounds like another form or type of life.

hi, Corcovado, I just learned something from reading your explanation! . I've heard that word many times (Everything But The Girl has a song with that title) but never knew its meaning.
Starlinger: hey! those birds are very peculiar/interesting! Imagine how odd a three must be with all the strange noises coming out with those birds in it!
oops I haven't talked about mine:
I tried to come with an available username and had just heard the song by Kraftwerk with the same title
My initials and the year I first started identifying myself by my initials

My name is a name I developed as a member of the MX forum for musicians, one of the web's most successful forums. It has since became associated with bs, nonsense, right-wing activism, trouble stirring, racism, incest, pedophilia, Jesus freak-ism.

it's the name of a character in a few poems me and a friend wrote a few years back.
vitamin joe is basically a slacker superhero in a nirvana t-shirt, who usually saves the Presidential Lawns of Livingstone from a fire that was started by beavers with a nuclear cabbage reactor. very silly, but I thought joe was a cool character...
My username is a light swearword in another language. I took that nickname because the day when I joined the forum, I felt very unhappy because of my aspie son's situation.
