Just using a blue scale close up of a Cockney musician who has become very well known around WP, since I got my life back on the right path. I'm going to make a green scale one on My Web Face.

<-----This is me in my favorite new top. I wear it as much as I can get away with without people thinking I don't do laundry. It's green and grey camouflage. Covered in buttons, zippers, and neat stuff. You can't see that from the photo though. :(

Yes, Ive changed my avatar to represent the film,"Walt Disney's The Black Hole". I recall seeing this film as a kid with my brother,sister,step-sister,step-brother and grandmother at the theatre.I did not fully understand the film at that particular age especially, the ending until later seeing it as a teenager..Well, in some ways I'd characterize myself as being one of the characters from the film in some ways.. Yet, I shant say which character closely resembles me in terms of personality I'll let other decide upon that..

Well I'm kinda late, I didn't realize this thread was here. This is a painting of a Russian Woman I'm using because I have Russian Ancestry and I am often told by Russians that I look Russian. I am still a desert rat but I thought while I'm here on the Mid Atlantic East Coast, I will use other avatars besides desert ones.

Question: Moog, what is your avatar about? It looks kind of cute and I seem to warm to it. Is it a famous painting or something. And for that matter, what was Hale Bopp's previous avatar meant to be? I used to like that for similar reasons

I changed my avatar to a pictorial reference to the 1980 film,"The Final Countdown" about a nuclear aircraft carrier which along with the crew find themselves transported back to 1941 shortly before the invasion of Pearl Harbor.
2nd, the film also reminds me of my older brother and how he had dreampt of one day being a pilot and flying the aircraft featured in the film.. :silent: .. 3rd, It also reminds me of myself in how I left one world and found myself in another but, things were not as pleasant as could be hope for..

I changed my avatar to (part of) a picture my cousin took of me. I liked my last picture on the train tracks but my old roommate who took it turned out to be a freaky guy, and it brings back bad memories. Now it's this.
