I am still scarred from seeing pics of Aintree. If you MUST wear a hat the colour of fluorescent puke and a dress the colour of fluorescent mauve, fine. But at least make sure said dress is a dress, not a top. And please remember to wear some panties. Any colour would be fine. Even if they're fluorescent lime green velvet. We really don't care. Any are better than none.

My sleep been up the wall for a month now since I have a fight with my mother & sister at my psychiatrist appointment.
lol there dress sense puts my home town's name to shame :(

I know, awwww.. my cute little dictator-to-be.

I would say it is refreshing to know a 9-year-old thinks that way and be concerned about dressing appropriately, nothing to do with being dictatorial.

I don't have a problem with it. I'm free to think you're a moron that can't dress themselves, but those dudes aren't showing any more than women do.

So I would agree because I can never understand why the women do it. There are plenty who go around town with low jeans or trousers and are constantly pulling them up or their top further down in case their underwear has shown which of course it has, somewhat repeatedly. Then I wondered if men did this purposely, did women too.?

Also, no-one has said how they feel about this 'exposure' by themselves, if accidental, like I am not vain to imagine people are gonna be looking at my butt each minute I walk around so if my underwear was showing I personally couldn't care less, same way as if I see someone elses, I really don't have to look, do I?

Those that do this with their pants generally wear boxers and don't show actual underwear. So, the indecency argument is really moot.

That's probably right because boxers are more in than Y-fronts these days although they are not to my taste, that's a whole different debate. I read somewhere that it is a chosen fashion, this sagging business, it reminded me too of the 'fashion' of those chains on jeans the last decade, if you saw a kid with this, you hoped they would never climb up anywhere and get stuck or worse.

That's not quite what I meant. Chains can be dangerous of course but I was referring to the 'fashion' of jeans adorned with all these chains, though I have not seen this for quite a time so, maybe it's a fad that came and went quickly.

People still wear things like that here. I never did, but that's not because I don't like them. I just never found a pair that were 'right'.

Those jeans with the chains, also they just looked real heavy, like they would weigh a kid down! If they were say, ten years old you would think they have another ten years to be wearing chains for real in the penzo!

I think they are in case people suddenly feel like drowning themselves.

lol Nah. They don't have a practical use. They're just aesthetically pleasing to those that choose to wear them.

Funnily, they're pretty much the only pants besides cargo pants I ever had a desire to seek out.

I do remember now when 15, a long long while ago LOL, in the punk era, here in the UK, chains were prevalent to PVC trousers and jeans so maybe what was seen in the late 90's was a flashback to that. Hope we haven't drifted too far off topic, though it's all fashion related I guess.

What about fat girls with their bellies hanging out from their bare mid-riff top? I don't even see low hanging jeans that often anymore though I could be off in my own little world. :)

I have no idea. I just like lots of metal and the pockets in the cargo pants appealed to be for obvious reasons.
