Hmm. I think I would have said much worse than this, and so should you. No reason to be polite when you've just paid for mouldy food.
Politeness is for when you'd like two sugars instead of one.

I was being too polite. I should have demanded my money back.

I should say so! That was outrageous.
A bit stale is one thing - but actual, mouldy food? 8O

I don't care if I don't walk into another McDonald's for as long as I live.

Normally once a week, I just get a Southwest salad with grilled chicken and chuck the dressing into the trash can (empty calories). I had my fair share of their fries and burgers a long time ago and they no longer appeal to my taste buds. Plus I kind of like being I guess thin compared to the "abomination" I was before.

This is the thread where we all get to discuss that restaurant that most people seem to swarm to. What are you thoughts and opinions about McDonald's. What do you think of the food, the atmosphere or commercials?

These are my thoughts about McDonald's. My mum worked there for 25 years in order to support my sister and I. She kept working there after my sister moved out, and I love her for it. I wasn't able to work at the time that she kept working there, so I appreciate that.

The food in my opinion isn't so great. The burgers are cheap and the salads are expensive. I really think that it should be the other way around, because I like the salads a lot better than I like the burgers. Also, think about it. Beef, chicken and fish are more expensive than lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cucumbers, so shouldn't the salads be cheaper than the burgers?

About the commercials. I like the types of McDonald's commercials where people are eating or parents are with their families. I don't really care for the Ronald McDonald commercials. I also like the commercials that feature Olympic athletes.

I think my cholesterol would be in good shape if I avoided the fats, (the big macs and fries). In fact I've made the effort to switch to Subway.

I don't have the attention to watch commercials, as I just zone out .

I am perfectly aware that McDonald's is so unhealthy (even the salads which have more calories than the Big Mac!) and is, along with the other fast food restaurants, contributing to the obesity problem,

But, I still cannot resist the Big Mac. They are so good. Maybe they are addictive on purpose, but I still love them. Maybe that is part of the reason why I am part of the obesity problem.

I think the McGriddle's are awesome. Their burgers suck though.

The food is junk because it's unhealthy and I remember the days when lot of them had playlands for kids. Now most of them don't have them anymore. I remember the old playland equipment like that hambulgar gym.

I used to love the places because of the toys to play on and the happy meals.

There is one about 20 blocks from me and have walked to it before because they have the redbox. I found out from online that is used to be a classic Mcdonalds and then they converted it into a modern style which is now old because they made a new building design so lot of the older ones are stuck with the 1960's design which stayed that way until the 2000's. Except the only difference is the drive thru was introduced in 1975 and the buildings were designed bigger and the restrooms were now inside than outside.

Local environmental health deal with food hygiene, there'll have a filed day over that, that McDonald's might get fined!

I hope you get the job too. I have never personally worked there, but I know people who have. They generally seemed to be satisfied with it as a workplace, for fair treatment and a decent shift schedule.

It is cheap price, and cheap quality food. But it does the job of filling your stomach up. I definitely do not recommend it as a main food in your life, but there is no major harm in an occasional or infrequent visit.
