I have never attempted to crochet.
If it interests you, it might be worth a try. My therapist told me it was a great activity for me due to my ADD. Not sure if it's the same for ADHD, but I know I've found myself in a meditative state several times which crocheting.
If one of you crocheting ladies was around to teach, I'd like to have a go

Once I figure out how to use the video feature on my camera, I could probably attempt. I've been told I'm good at teaching crocheting.

Great Idea for a thread all_white.
I cant do crocheting but my mum is rather good at it(she has sewn several clothing items to my sisters/her niece and has asked several times if I would like a jumper).

Hmmm. EgyptianCat, I don't remember agreeing to read anyone a bedtime story, but I like reading stories, so I'm happy to oblige! 
How about Rupert the Bear? He's all white, (hooray!) and he used to be my favourite when I was a little girl.
Spongy, make sure you don't let TenPencePiece steal that trophy back!

For your siggie to be ENTIRELY all_white-friendly, the space between "white" and "friendly" should be hyphenated, as I have just hyphenated it, because it is a compound adjective. However, I'm aware no one else cares, or even knows what a compound adjective is, so feel free to leave it as it is.
Things like that hurt when you're into punctuation. It makes me wince to read them, but such is life. We can't all be good at the same things. Case in point: I don't know how to crochet.

How about something more generic like the "The Perpetual Chat Thread"?
Well, I'm open to ideas!
I just wanted to convey the idea that sleazy talk and cursing would not be welcomed, and "perpetual" does not convey that idea at all.
How about "the PG-friendly chat thread?" <------To whichever mod ends up changing it: PLEASE do not make me weep by neglecting to hyphenate the compound adjective.
