If you get a DM asking if a picture is of you w/a link that takes you to a log-in page, it's a phishing link. Don't type yr info!

If yr account is acting oddly – say, Tweeting, following, or blocking folks on its own

If your account is used to register a "Get Followers Fast!" or auto-follow app, it will be permanently suspended.

Bulk emails purportedly from Twitter that offer verification, unlimited powers, or to prevent deletion: not real. Don't give your password.
