I am going through a midlife crisis I think... At least I can't think of any other reason.
How do you know when you are? I haven't had one yet, at least I don't think I have.
I don't really know. I am going to have to look up midlife crisis for info.
I have always heard people use the term to explain the reason why people do different or new things. If someone went out and bought a new sports car when they never had one before and they happened to be over the age of 40 years. I've heard it used for when someone started having an affair and they were also over the age of 40 years.
So I guessed from the way people have used the term that any time someone over the age of 40 years did something they have never done before, they were having a mid-life crisis and it meant they were having trouble with the fact that they were no longer young as they once were. But I don't believe that it's true for every time someone over the age of 40 years does something different or new. Being over the age of 40 years isn't anything like being elderly either.
