I used to have a neighbor that seemed to think she could say anything she wanted no matter how mean, rude, or insulting as long as she said "no offense" afterward.

^ Kind of similar, but I know someone who always says 'Not being rude, but...'
And then says something really rude.
I spend my time resisting the urge to go 'Not being rude, but I hate you and I think everyone else does too, oh, and you're a proper b1tch.'

I hate it when people say "Hey You" or "Yoohoo" while waving their hands frantically in the air. An excuse me will do just fine.

I'm not the only one here who still remembers that. I always wanted to smash the TV whenever those ads came on, but quickly realized that using the mute button would be the much more reasonable and less expensive choice. Besides, I didn't want to miss the rest of the game or program I was watching. :)

I found them kind of funny but I know why you & others found them annoying & that may be some of why I liked it. It made me want to drink a Bud but I couldn't cuz I was underage

hahaha yeah, bucephalus addressed a similar one (for "i don't mean to be rude, but..."):

The contraction for "would have"/"should have" should be written "would've" / "should've".

Some people may be slightly dyslexic. I know I've inadvertently written "their" when I meant "they're" and don't think it reflects on my intelligence as I do know the difference. I simply slip up when I'm typing something fast.

Intentionally reduced texts-peak annoys me though, especially the substitution of single letters, or worse yet numbers, for words... "4" for "for" and "u" for "you"... ugh.

Or majorly dyslexic in my case  But it could also be a cultural slang type thing. People in different areas tend to say things differently

It's the Illumanti! (i'm getting really sick and tired of hearing how involved the illuminati is even when you're watching a music video.)

That's gay (this is getting so old and i mean old as in back in my childhood.)

Tits or GTFO (this usually happens every time there's a chick on a video talking)

That's so lame.

What a ret*d. You're a ret*d. Fck off ret*d. Go get laid ret*d. (how many times do I have to hear this to know mental retardation is bad?)

Some of my favorite online friends use those phrases quite a lot. They also use the word Really a lot which I say a lot myself & they also say phrases "like totally"

Yeah I'm guilty of a few myself...What can I say some of these phrases are easy to catch and use over and over when you can't think of anything else to say.

oh, just neanderthals' usual verbal garbage, such as "special rights" [describing their hypocritical opposition to protecting LGBT from officially sanctioned discrimination], and "socialized medicine" [describing their hypocritical opposition to any form of universal healthcare or healthcare reform of any kind that would extend coverage to the loathesome working class], as well as "pro-life" [which is just a fig leaf to cover the anti-sex league's very anti-life/living people policies].
also- "feminazi" [anything out of the festering gob of that bigoted fat hypocritical lying sack of parrot droppings offends me :x ]. at least his recent misbehavior showed the true side of that evil man, which is a good thing because sponsors finally were forced to drop him like a hot potato.
also, pt. deux- "gun control" instead of saying what the gun banners really mean, which would be gun confiscation or gun banning.
within limits of civility and decency, society would be a healthier place on multiple fronts, if only more people could be decent enough to use upfront language about what they really thought about people they consider their inferiors, instead of disingenuously obscuring their true intentions with minced phraseology designed to pull the wool over everybody else's eyes 'cept their own. that means for example, that the people who opposed health care reform would skip over their normal hifalutin' garp and go right out and say something akin to "i don't want any of my tax dollars going to low-class losers who can just rot for all i care!" i can respect that kind of honesty, if not the people uttering such, because it accurately lets me and my class know where i stand with such self-imposed overlords.

"Forever alone."
"It's for your own good."
"Either do something about it, or just suck it up."
"Why can't you just take a joke?"

And similarly to what someone posted earlier, any phrase that uses the words, "gay, lesbian, ret*d, mental, etc." in a negative and ignorant way.

I also hate it when people say that they're "bipolar" when they have no really idea what maniac-depression is and just meant PMSing, "OCD" when they mean perfectionism, "ADHD" as in- OH HEY LOOK, A BUTTERFLY! and so on.

:wall:
