Is there anything more painful than popping out a kid?

My mother-in-law says kidney stone passing is more painful than child birth (she had 3 natually-delivered kids). And it depends on the woman's build and the size of the kid, I guess. I was 10 lbs and 21" tall, and my mother had to have an emergency C-sect. But I've heard of women who have their first baby suddenly at home, never knowing they were even in labor yet.

Drowning is something I imagine to be quite painful, but I suppose the lack of oxygen and the pressure will knock you unconscious quite early on.
Trying to resist also seems to help.

i've done both, and giving birth was more painful - possibly because i cracked my tailbone.

I've had accute appencicitis where it actually ruptured, they had to preform emergency surgury and had to clean out all of the bacteria that exploded inside my body. The doctor informed me that, thats the closest thing to childbirth pain wise a man will experiance

And I gotta say. it was awfully painful, :(

Best part of being adopted is that she can't use that particular guilt trip on me.

As a man I could never know but guess. Perhaps having a metal pipe cleaner put into your urethra and spinning at 3000 rpm or slowly dying of cancer or having your arms and legs amputated without anesthetic or suffering 3rd degree burns followed by dipping your scorched body in rubbing alcohol nearly dying of shock then getting revived and burned again.Or anything that leads to this or this or this the lovely box jellyfish 8O

But seriously, I've heard so many scary things about childbirth that I don't even know if I want kids in the future or not.

I have always wanted to be eaten by a great white shark.

I still say we would be extinct if it was the man's responsibility to deliver the kid. Few kids would survive to full term.

Cluster headaches.

Its practically the most horrible pain and suffering known to science.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cluster_headache

"Cluster headache is probably the worst pain that humans experience. I know that’s quite a strong remark to make, but if you ask a cluster headache patient if they’ve had a worse experience, they’ll universally say they haven't. Women with cluster headache will tell you that an attack is worse than giving birth. So you can imagine that these people give birth without anesthetic once or twice a day, for six, eight, or ten weeks at a time, and then have a break. It's just awful."

LSD can be used to treat cluster headaches. according to that documentary I saw on some science channel.
