Try beef in Theakston's Old Peculier. :)

My mum has used Manns in the past (it's well known as a cooking beer), but it's far, far too sweet for that IMO. Still don't mind the beer though.

Prefer Black Velvet personally - Guinness and Strongbow. But it's sweet.

And anyway, I prefer the Nigerian version of Guinness to the regular one. It's much stronger, sweeter and roastier.

Bad beer can smell like vinegar, but when on form it is divine.

If you like raspberries, there are some lovely raspberry beers out there.

My favourite is by Saltaire, and it's called Raspberry Blonde (4%). It's very popular with the women too. :)

I like beer; particularly Mexican beer (Corona, Sol, etc). But I haven't really been drinking it much in the past 10 years due to fitness bodybuilding being more important to me than drinking a cold beer.

When somebody offers me one, I say "I'd love to, but I already have a sixpack under my shirt, and I can't have it there if I drink it".

That will lead to some laughs about fulfilling prejudices, about certain countries, but yes: Around here "Bier-schnitzel" is very popular. May sound weird, but is not so much different from cooking with wine-based sauces. ^^

I did something like that 1ce. After I graduated high-school I went to this training center for people with low-vision to learn life skills(I was born with a rare low vision disorder) & one of the classes was kind of a home-ech thing but it was mostly cooking. We used beer 1ce for some kind of fry stuff. There was a little left & I asked if I could drink the rest instead of the teacher throwing it out like she said she was going to. We weren't supposed to be drinking there but she let sense there wasn't much left :D

milk is for babies real men drink beer !

beer has way way way more flavour compounds than wine have you seen the rubbish they write on the back of wine labels :roll:

Better than sipping on that gross beer. Vegemite tastes good though, kinda like beer paste you spread on buttered toast. Foreigners don't know what they're missing out on.


cant stand vegemite it tastes like vb , worst beer in the world probably one of the few beers I can not drink xxxx being the other.

sadly mixing booze and meds is not a good idea, tried a small glass of :mid strength beer and it was no good next a really low alcohol beer if that doesn't work out no more beer for me . :cry:

Most of the meds I'm on can potentially interact with alcohol so it's probably good I very seldom drink thou I was OK having a couple beers last xMas & I was on most all the meds I'm on now. I still need to be careful thou & I am because I don't drink alcohol fast & only drink a couple beers within a few hours.
