I remember when they were 8 ounces! :x

I remember when they weren't radioactive, fortunately I have 70 tins of pre-Fukushima tuna in my Zombie apocalypse survival stash.

Oo, that burns me up!! I'm STILL fumin' about those larger cardboard toilet paper rolls!! I HATE being controlled by "Big Biz" (businesses)----they do it, all-the-time----but, what can we do? Yeah, one can boycott a product----but, it would take, about, half the nation, to make a difference----and, some products are just irreplaceable! "Big Biz" knows ALL of this, and they can just "do" us, any way they please!

Oh, God----I didn't even THINK about tuna being radio-active----and I eat it, like it's going out-of-style!! GOOD GRIEF!!

I love that you have a "Zombie apocalypse survival stash"----I've always wanted one of those!!

In Britain - Sosmix. It's a vegetarian sausage mix that's been around a long time and used to be very available. You can still get it online (in original form that's suitable for vegans as well).

Follow links here http://www.sosmix.com/

There used to be a very interesting bacon flavoured version as well, I think that one has gone forever.

Turkish cigarettes - the kind that used to be made of Yenidje tobacco by Balkan Sobranie, but have been unavailable for more than 20 years. Despite the obvious health risks (although I never inhaled). The smell was exquisite.

One time years ago I found a "diet" fudge brownie mix called "No Pudge Fudge". Cute. Anyway, you could mix it with water, bake it in the oven or even the microwave and then out came these amazingly moist, chewy, decadent brownies that were non-fat!! Or low in fat, anyway I don't really remember. I combined them with frozen yogurt for a healthier version of a brownie sundae. I haven't seen the mix ever since then. Sometimes I wonder if it's because it was really full of fat or some toxic chemical? Also I've baked low-fat brownies from a different brand and they came out hard, dry and tasteless.

downsized cars like from the late 70s/80s, before Detroit started bloating them out again. the mid-late 80s caddy sedan de villes are a case in point, they were compact on the outside [188" long and 70" wide] and as roomy and comfortable inside as any practical car needed to be [could seat 5-6 in reasonable comfort], plus they had that smooth magic carpet ride over the bumps- but starting in '89 they started bulging out again, and now they are basically land yachts. good-handling, though.

The good news is, these are still made:- http://www.peelengineering.com/ but it does give me an opportunity to combine a film about Peel Cars with another perfect item that is no longer available.

just imagine how much space would be saved on the roads and parking lots if most of us drove those things instead of the land barges most of us drive.
