Its about texture usually.

I don't like greasy or less firm meats so eat mostly loin and breast cuts of animals and fowl. (no dark meat no goose)
I don't like mealy fish so no cod or sole

I don;t like fussing with small things or getting hands dirty so rarely eat wings or ribs.

I have problems with things like pudding and jello with thick consistency

I don't like mangoes much but like papaya.

I don't like a lot of cinnamon in most cooked dishes or cereals or treats.

except fresh I despise flavor of strawberry

Shrimps... any seafood really...
I've always wondered how people can eat a shrimp without spitting it out. It's slimy and weird!!
Also, some parts of the chicken. Whenever I eat chicken I eat like half of it because some parts are chewy and strange.

I can eat just about anything put in front of me. I'm not picky. Food is food. Food=energy, lol. I've even eaten escargot without squirming. I won't, however, touch mushrooms. I have a morbid, uncontrollable phobia of fungi and will say twenty feet away from mushrooms at all times. We once had a mushroom crop up in our herb garden over night, and when I stumbled upon it in the morning I nearly buckled and blacked out from hyperventilation. The very thought of having mushrooms in my food makes me not want to eat it, and I won't touch it if it's been cooked in the same pan as mushrooms have been cooked in.

I also don't like certain kinds of gummies. Gelatin is a tough one for me. Mostly because my old speech therapist used to force me to talk with Jell-O on my tongue and since then I can't eat it because it reminds me of how much I hated her. But gummies in particular have always set me off, and even if they taste good, I won't eat them because of the weird squishy texture.

To repeat some stuff, licorice, aspic, raisins (plain are OK but not in bread).

Also lemon, sugar, coffee on some days, some days it is fine (???), wine, goji berries, all melons but water melon, roast beef, bay leaf, nutmeg, red cheese, pickled beetroot (cooked is OK), pickled onion (otherwise any onion is OK). Also I have a hard time with any fruit if it is acidic, like sour apples and sour tangerines, even if I like them if they lack acidity.

I quite like a lot of food other people hate. Like blue cheese, olives, liver, kidneys, black pudding, clams, brussels sprouts, green beans, asparagus (but not from a can), broccoli, cabbage, fish, spinach, sardines/sprats.

Celery. It tastes disgusting to me, just a weird flavor.

Anything too hot and spicy; I can't tolerate jalapenos. I can't get my head around why people find it fun or enjoyable to burn their mouths out and sweat their asses off with the spiciest food possible. I don't mind the very mildest spicy dish but I have no pleasure at all from hotter spicy dishes. To me it feels like torture and self inflicted discomfort.

Most alcohol tastes unpleasant to me. I don't hate the taste but I don't like it enough to actually, actively want it, request it or enjoy it. If you offered me a choice between a glass of wine or a glass of a soda or lemonade or anything else that's not alchohol, anything an underage child would be offered, I'd choose the soda/ child's drink.

Ugh, forgot aniseed. Most stuff is avoidable, but back when I was on Prozac they stopped selling the capsules for some reason and they only sold soluble tablets with a strong aniseed flavoring.

Urrkkk....

From what has been listed above:
Olives
Cucumber
Aniseed.

And to add:
Mushrooms - I used to work at a mushroom farm and that place did nothing to improve my taste for them.
Anything with nuts. I'm not allergic but they make me feel sick to my stomach.
Anything minty. I'll put up with toothpaste twice a day but that's it. :eew:

Celery (has a weird taste and gets stuck in my teeth)
Corned beef and cabbage (Ugh, the smell)
Overly sweet snack foods
Liver
Beets
Overly spicy food (Medium spicy is okay)
Tabasco sauce (I can't understand people who put that on everything)
Kimchi (In the college dorm where I lived my first year at the university, somebody cooked that all the time. It made the place smell like a big litterbox.)
Any kind of snack food that's all sugar and has no real taste.
