The entertainment continues!

Long wknd this wknd & I have the house to myself.. could be fun but might just be restful as I’ve been working every day and zonked out by evening. Still, though, might have a fwb or two (or three?) swing by over the weekend.

Then Monday is my only day off in a while and for a while, and it’ll be good to sleep in and be well rested because the classroom portion of motorcycle riding lessons begins Monday evening!

Then all I have to do is get a weekend job for the Fall/Winter wen my seasonal weekend job ends and I should be able to buy another couple wheels early next Summer. (Torn between buying something dirt cheap or buying what I want.. time & money will tell.) Regardless of what and when, it’s gonna be fun!

You know how you can make some real money fast?

Get the Canadian version of the CDL license. That way, you can drive trucks.

I used to want to be a trucker.....so I could pick up girls.

Might be money in long haul trucking still, but short hall has been ruined locally by a certain ethnic group that almost monopolizes the industry - and like most industries they touch, they compete on cost, driving prices down.. which means trucking is pretty cutthroat locally. Long haul, though, those guys might make some bank.

Costs time & money to get a CDL, though, and then years of experience before you're able to get a lucrative route/contract, typically. Like most occupations, decent money isn't instantaneous.

Of course I can't just be entertained all the time and there has to be some sort of balance maintained in the Universe.. and that comes in the form of having to work. Been working every day, coffee'd up ready to go work my weekend job pressure washing at UBC right now.. planned on maybe having a friend over this weekend buuuut after the beach after work last night I was wiped out.. and after work today and tomorrow I don't think I get beach time even though it's right there - gotta help my sister and her family move ~20km away to another nearby city closer to her husband's current job. (which I hope he moves on from this/next year for more money, time will tell.) Whether they get access today and I help move some of the furniture tonight or I have to do it all tomorrow night (worst, my weekend job is a short day today long day tomorrow) I'm gonna be sofa king destroyed by the end of tomorrow night I'm just gonna flop down in the massage chair and nevAr get up.

Late last night was.. entertaining. Only got about 2 hours sleep.. but he was worth it.

Plenty of entertainment this wknd & coming up, too.

Went to a movie Friday eve with some of my favourite humans, then a late night dinner.

Stuck around town after work yesterday and went to a football game with my brother. Almost half the people left with 2mins to go because they thought the BC Lions had zero chance of winning.. I commented to my brother that that was "unfansmanlike conduct," and even if they lose they might miss the play of the year. Turned out to be the most exciting end of a game possible: They tied it up at the last second with a video replay call reversal and then ended up winning in OT - which is so rare for a football game to go to OT that they had to display the OT rules up on the big screen!

Off to the Rise Against concert with my brother tonight.

Then have 3 different dates scheduled for this week (if they all follow through and happen), one Tuesday with an old fwb, one Wednesday with someone I'm really looking forward to meeting, and another for Friday or Saturday that sounds promising, too.

Fun times, fun times.
