Matthew 7:1,2

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Maybe if you judge people and say that they aren't "true Christians," you won't be deemed a true Christian.

Is the subtext here that Christian LGBTQ+ people, including members of WP, will go to Hell?

Some people think that the most important aspect of being a follower of Jesus is showing love towards other people. They strive to help people in their community and be a good person in general. They also do religious stuff like pray.

Those are primary aspects, but they're not the only aspects. Really if they want to do that stuff without having a total commitment to Christ they should just join something else.

A person can do those things no matter what their sexuality is.

A person's sexuality isn't the issue. Lust, fornication and sodomy etc are the issue, because those are sins no matter what one's sexual orientation is.

Who are you to say what people should or should not do?

The subtext is having a sincere dedicated relationship with Jesus, rather than just putting on a show or just going through the motions.

God is the one who says what his creation should or shouldn't do. I'm just a messenger.

So you are an imperfect human speaking for God. Got it!

Isabella was asking if the implication is that Christian LGBTQ+ will go to Hell. You didn't answer that.

A very imperfect person simply stating what the word of God says.

An imperfect person who chooses to take specific passages in the Bible literally and excludes the possibility that other "true" Christians may view it differently.

The answer is if you don't have a relationship with Jesus and do the will of God, no matter who or what you are, then Jesus will say "I never knew you". As for hell, those who don't want to know, worship and serve God in his kingdom 24/7, heaven itself would be like hell to them.

Jesus Christ says, one who believes in him and obeys all of his teachings and commandments.

I simply know what the Bible says as a whole about serving and obeying God and being a genuine disciple of Christ.
