My current nickname is JP, but before that:

briefly they called me by one hideous nerd asserting name...bad times
I kinda forced people to call me Dream Master in High School, but that turned into Drink and then drinq as I had a tumultous association with alcohol (that didn't end until after I finished the University).

JP was a gratuitous surprise, since that was the symbol I drew and rendered on 3dsmax on a number of occasions (that was a sort of signature of mine). That's why they called me J.P. in High School towards the end (with full english pronunciation of the letters...remember I live in Mexico).

I have no idea how people in the university picked up on it, I did not distribute or show off my work there.

I'm still just plain old JP to this day.

gwen: hmm... its still strange. i guess its not meant as an insult for a certain kind of behaviour (such as calling a promiscous person a slut or a b***h for said behaviour) but just a brainless insult for being different.

strange bunch, those people out there are.

Yeah... in my experience the label was not applied to people who actually slept around, but rather to those who had a lot of attention from the opposite sex. But that's probably because I've never hung out with many people who are loose.
