stinkbugs ohhhhh yes

Ever since I was a kid I found the pages of some books really stink. Must be sulfur from the paper mill or something.

Cheap perfumes and cologne

Rotten or overripe fruit

Parmesan cheese

Flowery air freshener

Cannabis. I could smell someone smoking it in the building when I was in the bathroom the other night. I can't be the only person who finds it like skunk smell.

Fox poo (particularly if i have to wash it out of my dog)
Impacted dog anal glands (if you know, you know)
Stinkhorns, although i'm still always happy to find one
Baked beans (did i say that already?)

There actually is a type of cannabis called "skunk" because of the smell. If people want to smoke it, they can smoke it, but I don't get how they can stand the stink.

Any strong fruity smell bothers me a lot.
There's also another smell that I can't describe because I don't know what causes it, but it comes up in various places and I cannot stand it. When I was in elementary school it used to emanate from the teacher's lounge and I felt like puking.

Urine in public toilets. The type of urine that you imagine to be hot and steamy and which has aged terribly.

There’s some mystery smell i despise, too. All i know is that it likes doorknobs, and some sort of spoiled supplement smelled strongly of it once

The attitudes of ableist people

Some people in our apartment building smoke that sh!t. Sometimes I really hate living in an apartment & wish we lived in a trailer, tiny house, or camper that is not super close to a sidewalk or other yards. I'm suddently wondering if people can get high from the stench of an actual skunk

Macaroni cheese

Nothing worse than terribly aged urine. That's why I age mine in a cave where it can rest in complete darkness at a consistent 10 degrees celcius all year round and when you open a bottle it smells just wonderful.

Although I like raspberries, I find raspberry-scented air freshener too sickly.

Cat pee. Which can be something of a problem if you like cats.

Bluebells when they've gone over make the woods smell like cat pee. It's gross for a week or so.

After I handle something metal my hands always get this awful metallic smell I can't stand. Even though I don't normally have my hands near my nose, somehow when they smell bad I can't stop smelling them to see if it's still there. So I have to stop whatever I'm doing and find a place to wash them.
The metallic smell is one of my absolute least favorite things to experience in any sense, not just smell.
