I posted earlier what I currently drive, but my first car was a manual 1986 Honda Civic that I bought in 1994. I drove it until 2000, then sold it because I was moving to Arizona and the AC didn't work. I loved that little car whose name was Gilbert. :)

Those cars are awesome!! !

They're barely went fast enough to get on the freeway, but you could run 'em for a week on a thimblefull of gas, and I've never driven a car with better handling. Manual choke, too! Starting those in Canadian winter is interesting - you have to pull the choke out to the "sweet spot", pump the gas twice, turn the key till it catches, then flail at the gas pedal like you're stomping on a bug that's trying to sting you, making sure to keep the revs over 3000 to keep it from stalling. This goes on for about 10 minutes until it a)warms up or b)your neighbours kill you for making "zing!zing!zing!zing!" noises at 6am.

Come to think of it, I don't think any name OTHER than Gilbert would fit those cars!

I absolutely loved that car and I hated to give it up. I think it had nearly 200,000 miles on it.

I don't have my own car, and I don't have license for driving.

But my family's car is a 2005 Honda CR-V in ruby red

I don't really belive that people who don't need 'big' cars, need big 'cars'... Like a few days ago, I saw a man with no shopping, nothing to carry, nobody else was in the car and he was driving this:

and why would a three person family need a Ford S Max and a Land Rover

I just bought a '98 Ford Escort. It's about as bare-bones as it gets! No power windows, no power locks, not even a CD player. But it's in good condition, so I'm satisfied. Now I just need to actually get my license!

My Ford Escort:

I got some new allow wheels from my brother (I guess I owe him a nice christmas present), and I've ordered som new interior parts. :)

For a '95 model, it's actually quite well equiped. It has both cup holders, power locks and very comfortable seats. Got it for half the price of most '95 Ford Escorts here in Norway, even though there's no rust on it. :)

I own a silver '99 BMW 328i convertible. I started out with a '79 Pontiac Bonneville ("the tank")!

I've never had a car as small as my Beamer. It's almost smaller than my parrot!

A 2004 Pontiac Grand Am, or The Grandam as I refer to it.

I traded in my 1990 Chevy Cavalier Z24 with 210,000 miles on it just to have it. I miss my Cavalier.

^ That's the last picture I have of the Cavalier. :(

1995 Lexus sc300. Its gold colored and it has a 131,134miles but its still reliable.

2000 vw beetle glx with the 1.8 turbo motor. It has just over 80,000 miles and it has a stiffer lower motor mount and a modified audi tt shifter. My plans for this car in order are; giac ecu reflash, upgraded diverter valve, catback exhaust with downpipe, and upgraded fuel injectors. All that will have to wait until the shop rebuilds the head though. :(

One of my friends has one of those. Its quite nice and comfortable. I've borrowed it a few times but only when I needed to move things that I couldn't fit in my car. Sometimes in Minnesota you need awd though, especially today.

I have an '84 Ford Telstar Ghia with all of the extras and front wheel drive.
For a three speed auto it kicks the s**t out of most commodores in a drag and drifts like magic!
Though i don't have much of an income so i had to learn mechanics in order to keep a car and I'm glad i did!
I get 10 k's to a liter of unleaded when my sister's 2000 festiva gets six!
Most people make fun of it because it has a red back and silver front because a mate drove it into a ditch.
I love my car!

I thought seeing as I passed my driving test I'd ressurect this..

I don't actually own a car..... I currently borrow a late 2004 Vauxhall Zafira at the moment until such times I can get my own car, basically that's what I've been driving around in for the last 3 days, and despite it's size compared to the cars I learned to drive in (4 in total) I actually find it easy to drive
