"No problem" as a response to "Thank you." The phrase has replaced "You're welcome."

Any phrase that has become so overused that it has become completely meaningless.

Actually when I hear that phrase, I get a mental image of heels behind head... ha. It's just that it tends to distract my concentration from the current conversation, if you know what I mean... :wink: :twisted:


I always have a flashback from Ever After when I hear it.

Innocent=nonexistent? Are toys and silly hallmark cards not made of atoms that are just like the atoms that make up your electric bill? There are degrees of reality based on the experiences of the person involved? Who are you, Hegel?

Because no one will tell me what it means.

"Keep your eye on. . ./ All eyes were on. . ./ Their eyes met/ Keep your eyes peeled/ etc. etc."

Stock phrases involving eyes really flip the literal thinking switch. Once I heard a newscaster say that "All eyes were on Jennifer Lopez." I immediately pictured Jennifer Lopez wearing jewelry made of human eyeballs. :lol:
