Ok, that piqued my curiosity. (What were your parents thinking?) You know I shall consult Google.

Supplanter.....I don't know either.

Dad decided the name hadn't been used in the family for a while, so he went with it.
My middle name means something like "protector of the wealth".
My last name means sheep herder, pig guard or high warden.

I have absolutely no chance to get a swelled head from any of this. I'll have to do something amazing on my own for that. Any day now.

Mystery solved. Yes, I checked - love Google, __________'s Ladder.
Live up to the name? Fortunately we can surpass, or bypass (*refer to below) our name.

I had a professor in grad school who named his baby daughter Garvia. Yes, Garvia. He said they might call her Garvey for short.
Envisioning therapy bills in her future.....baby girl had shocking red/orange hair too.

The moral: We should be thankful.

The full version of my first name means "beautiful" in Yiddish, and my last name means, rather obviously when you take into account the spelling/sound, "new mayor" in German. No idea about my middle name, which is Irish.

My first name means fair and smooth.

My last name is not common but one reference said it referred to a person with curly hair. I actually do have curly hair.
