Tom Green was an underrated comedic genius.

There. I said it.

There's something about the word "yum" that really rubs me the wrong way... like grown-ups shouldn't be talking in goo-goo-gah baby language.

Hmm, I could see how this makes some sense, he still kind of is under rated as a stand up comic which is his current career, but I thought he was pretty popular... Well he's big among people with a sense of humor at least!... If you haven't already, check out his podcast he recently came out with, it's pretty good for just starting out. Tom Green is the man!

all audio recordings should be video also, in surround-sound. all listening rooms should have sound coming out of every wall, with bass coming up from the floor and ambience coming from the ceiling.

Yes, indeed! :) In particular small pox and the black death keep reoccurring as obsessions for me from time to time.

All emoticons should be eliminated (except for eyeroll).

are you sure that you are only 16? you certainly have very dated tastes. your avatar of benny hill is strangely anachronistic. benny hill was a comedian when i was a small child and after his death, he has had very little exposure due to the more modern attitudes toward the crassness of his style, and i would have thought that teenagers today would never have heard of him.

i also noticed that you posted a johnny o'keef song in some other thread, and he was even before my time. i consider his music that i have heard to be not of interest like most 1960's small time performers.

and now this. i derive no pleasure from what you posted, but people much older than me probably would.

although i do have some dated tastes myself (fred astaire was insanely talented), by and large, i have little interest in bygone era's entertainment styles (excepting classical music).

look at this if you really do have a thing for vintage entertainment. to make it even more astounding, he was in his mid 50's when he performed this.

I really am 16, and I love what's considered "Oldies" stuff, Benny Hill is my comic idol. Johnny O'Keefe is one of my favorites, and I love his takes on Shout and What'd I Say. Oldies stuff is awesome :D

On the subject of Fred Astaire, i've been watching clips of him, and find him quite entertaining, and he's a great dancer.

On the male end, I wish Male performers were like this, And R.I.P to this man, who just died a couple of days ago. Without him, we probably wouldn't have the Beatles:

I like oldies too :)

I think cars haven't been awesome since the 1960's/early 70's, and music stopped being great after the 1980's.

I agree 100% There was the occasional good track from the 1990's though, but it was rare.

here is a 1966 fairlane with a 351 motor competing in an acceleration test with a 2009 dodge with a 427 motor.
the "air scoop" on the bonnet of the fairlane is just an aesthetic touch and it is not functional.

listen to the old fairlane's engine's crankshaft urgency compared to the the dodges efficient and quiet motor. i think the fairlane won . my father had a fairlane like this and i was never beaten of at the lights by any other car when i drove it. i could also cruise at more than 120 mph in it without any effort.

I often have no idea what many of the posters are talking about in their posts in this thread and in some others.
