If the bridge could not have been finished without me, people would STILL be rowing boats across!

Sounds hazardous. Maybe everyone should stay on their own side of the water?

Your avatar does not represent you as sunburnt.

Do moomins get sunburnt?

Oh, I hate it when it takes that long. I can't justify waiting an entire minute for a simple easy load.

I've had a lot of problems with WP recently, although it seems ok today. Usually when it does that I just give up. I wonder how that 'new version' is coming along?

@Sylkat - this Moomin does not tan. I have two colour options - white or red. I have therefore resigned myself to pale and interesting. I even got stopped on the street on holiday by someone just to ask if I was English. It must have been the long sleeves and large sunhat, when everyone else on the island was in vest tops. I did at least have my legs out. Although they were probably glowing white. :P

Is that why you're still 'screaming on the inside?'

The Moomin is screaming on the inside because she is as white as an Elizabethan portrait, or as white as Kyle the Ghost, or as white as a.......

Real Moomin!

You're welcome.

I've heard of overwhelmed, but not simply whelmed. What does that mean?

I'd say either she's seldom overwhelmed or underwhelmed, but staunchly in the middle; or else she easily goes back and forth between the two. I'm guessing the latter. :P

Hope your trip went well, Mooms.

Yeah, we do this to English tourists here, too. Well, they kinda stand out here in Queensland; some of them look like they've never seen sunlight before. Mind you, I had a Scottish lecturer (with an awesome Glaswegian accent) at uni who thought we all looked like drowned rats when it rained, because we're too used to sunshine. :P
